Also from WI, also love dipping the crusts in ranch. Where do places get that thick ranch from? It’s my favorite. Sysco, maybe?

I’m Team Frosting and one thing I noticed when I worked at a big company that had a lot of free cake is that, unless you speak up, the coveted corner pieces will ALWAYS randomly go to the people who hate frosting. I got over being shy about it around the fourth time I saw plates full of frosting go in the trash.
Hello, soulmate.
When I was a punk rock youth some other punk rock youths I knew went on tour with their band for the summer and one of the guys made a bet that he could live on nothing but beer for the whole tour. I can’t remember if it was seven or ten days in that he ended up in the hospital.
Yes, the shortcake! I had a great strawberry shortcake at a friend’s house years ago, and when I raved about it she told me it was the Bisquick recipe from the back of the box. I ran right out and bought some. I like that it’s more sturdy and not very sweet.
I had a Babybel wax ball the size of a softball before I moved two years ago. I ended up tossing it because almost everything I own was going into storage and it wasn’t going to do well in triple digit summer temps in a storage unit. Years of work and delicious cheese went into that thing.
I feel like I’ve found my people in this thread. #NeverOnions
The rise of Susan Powter was why 90s me had to give up the bleached buzzcut, dark brows, and red lips look. I got tired of being asked about her.
Came here to say this! I loved him!
We have these for Sunday breakfast sometimes but let me tell you what people really go crazy for: we cut the eggs into quarters and make tiny ones that you can either serve as finger food or put on a skewer as a Bloody Mary garnish.
#1 reason why I will never use “lover” and cannot take anyone else who uses it seriously, either. First thing my mind goes to, every time.
My co-worker’s wife has been in the ER twice for what turned out to be dehydration. Not sick, nothing particularly busy or stressful going on she just...didn’t notice she was thirsty. Some people are just wired differently, I think.
I much prefer cold weather exercising to hot weather. It’s the humidity and the bugs that make me want to sit around in the A/C and watch Netflix.
My aunt has been a life-long downhill skier, and a member of her local slope’s ski patrol for 30 years, and for the last several years the place has stayed open by heavily courting snowboarders and investing in snow making equipment. Even so, it’s not likely to be sustainable long-term. Climate change is going to win…
My go-to is a wedge of brie and a baguette, sometimes an apple or a pear, or fig jam. My stomach hates me the next day, and I always swear I’ll never do it again. And then...
During my younger years when I had a faster metabolism and a less sensitive digestive system I would sometimes make a batch of these on a cold winter Friday night and eat them for every meal all weekend long. I usually added a healthy blorp of sriracha.
I’ve just discovered I’m more of a germaphobe/clean freak than I thought because I do not like the idea of my jammies and robe being outside the house and then going back to my bed.
One of my favorite dried fruits, and I’ve never tried this brand. I’m going for it.

Oh God, pudding skin. My favorite.
I wouldn’t mind just seeing them just lower the age of Medicare eligibility, and leaving the various Medicare-adjacent options in place. I work in that industry and I would love to be able to enroll in that shit.
