Honestly, as long as you’re not making funny things with Decorate and ACS you can have a really good MP experience. Though being able to have a server/client architecture like Skulltag would be nice !

I so hope you'll get harrassed by some big corps by something that seem so dumb but IS legal for them to sue you about. All those laws were made to protect small creators at the beginning, do you feel that's who they benefit the most now?

Evidences seem to indicate he lived off the site and just made it survive with this money, woyldn't call it profiting. Besides never heard of this site, pretty likely a very small player so it didn't cost Nintendo a 100th of what the court ordered to pay...

Publisher launchers are less barebone (and were less barebone at launch), GoG is more consumer friendly, so are legit third party resellers like Humble.
