5 generations going back ~240 years is not impossible. Some googling tells me her father was born in 1928 and his grandfather was born in 1828.

I was just planning to get my sister “Happy Birthday, Satan” on a Fudgie the Whale.

I’m terrified of faces in windows. My bf makes fun of me for it, but I have this weird paranoia that someone will climb up on the roof next to my window and look in. I’m more terrified of seeing them than of being seen.

I have the same shower fear because I’m afraid of what I’ll see when I open my eyes AND because half the time I see a face when I close them. It’s always like a photo negative and I see different parts of the face before it comes together as a full face. I always see the eyes (staring and blinking). Used to freak me

Wait what does being from Queens have to do with his gross comment?

Please don’t drag Queens into this. The other boroughs have also produced their fair share of garbage human.

My doctor cousin has told me some amazing/horrible/gross tales but two stand out:

Yeah, all I ever get are “dude you suck” and “burv are you seriously frost in pve??” Meanwhile, my guy friend who plays attractive female characters has catfished dudes into buying him 2 expansions in guild wars and currently gets way more free stuff and help on WoW. I also don’t tell people I’m female (it gets gross

She likely is already getting love and support from her family, but your comments come off as insincere. Suggesting someone “gets help” as a way to absolve yourself from simply showing a little sympathy comes off as concern trolling. After people responded that you should get help as well, you refer to it as ad

I mean... Kim is someone who has shown that she can be sympathetic and empathetic to BLM, victims and family of victims of gun violence and speaks out on the Armenian genocide. She’s plenty capable of showing empathy AND sympathy for people and you can’t even muster one. For that matter, she also doesn’t go around

This is one of the best explanations of empathy (and responses to any thread about this whole situation) that I have read in a long time. Though, at the end of the day, I think many people will find any excuse to convince themselves that certain people don’t deserve empathy and somehow still regard themselves as

I mentioned this elsewhere, but the sad thing is it’s not just the influx of Gawker people. It’s quite a few regulars. This really just highlights how hypocritical and gross people can be.

I wish it was just the giant wave of assholes that appeared after gawker shut down, but it’s not. This and any other Kardashian news brings out the worst and must hypocritical in people.

There’s this thing called “empathy”... Maybe you can ask the bodies in your basement about it.

I mean... the comments here are pretty bad, too.

Maybe I’m just burnt out from all the depressing comments here (many from jezzebel regulars), but I’m sure the minute she speaks out on this issue people are going to double down on the “attention whore” accusations.

This is such a beautiful response...

Judging by this article she can afford better than Supercuts, but girl has never had a decent hair stylist.

I got bitten by a corgi at my cousin’s pool last week and I’m still pissed about it. I haven’t been bitten by a dog that hard ever (since all the dogs in my family are friendly and well trained/socialized). If it had bitten my dog instead if me I’d have lost it.

Maybe in a city full of first/second/etc generation immigrants and cultural and ethnic minorities, people tend to want to live in neighborhoods with a community that they are comfortable and familiar with? That’s not to say that economics doesn’t play a role, but maybe calling it segregation is a little off base.
