My old man had one of these just before I was born. He wrecked and rebuilt it, using the bathroom as a parts room and taped off half the kitchen and turned it into a paint shop. He resprayed it a fetching red, similar to the machine in the article above, fucking up / dramatically improving 50% of the kitchen in the

FYI He’s from Estonia, not Sweden :)

Brit living in Tallinn here. Seen a few of these buzzing around. And I echo Bandolier’s sentiment.

I don’t know about it being “effective”, but here’s a Viper hauling a Honda F1 car.

Range Rover 2.5 DSE.

Yeah, you're right. My Mum lives just up the road, and that's Dorset - I guess crossing the country boundary doesn't really register when you're not going that far.

Great!

Sadly, I didn't get a chance to meet the owner. I hung around, hoping to do so, but then it started to rain and I wanted a pie and a pint so I decided to check out the catering facilities.

Here's a late Honda F1 on a trailer. With a mental-trousers tow car, because, you know, why the hell not. Took this at the Gurston Down Hill Climb event in Dorset, UK, back in 2011.

Came here to post this.

My body is ready.

They construct the wings for the A380 at Broughton, North Wales (near where I used to live) those are too large to fly and they load them onto a pretty impressive oversized load road transporter, move them a mile or so up the road to the river then load them onto a barge and ship them to France for final assembly.

Now playing

I used to live in Broughton. The house was pretty much at the end of the runway. Most days, rain or shine, they'd have these going back and forth.

Great post! One thing though: this is "Rummu", "Rammu" is somewhere else, also in Estonia.

I read somewhere recently that the initial flight plan submitted for MH17 had them at FL350 over the Donetsk region however Ukrainian authorities requested they change to FL330.

As the current owner of a MKVI GTD and previous owner of a Bora V6 4motion I can relate. I also lol'd.

RIP Bobby. Sad news indeed.

I've been there twice: 2007 and 2012. My sister was there on Thursday. It never fails to be utterly brilliant in virtually every imaginable sense. Be it the vehicles, the legendary drivers mingling amongst the visitors, Damon Hill driving Murray Walker around in a golf buggy. There's something for everyone.

Before I moved to Estonia, I lived in Chester, making Oulton Park my closest circuit, but Anglesey was my favourite for the scenery and the drive to and from the track but Castle Coombe, near my childhood home in the southwest was always my favourite circuit to drive. I miss all 3, and Cadwell.
