Totally agree. There are like a couple actually good anime each decade or so.

Bebop is one of the rare good anime that made me think that I liked anime when in reality most anime is bad.

I have never watched a top gear spinoff or one of the re-casted seasons. It just is incredibly difficult to see myself enjoying these shows now. Maybe I am being narrow minded and fearful of change but the idea of supporting a new regime seems utterly traitorous.
