Brian Fuller got distracted by a new project and ignored the one he was currently working on. That does not seem like him AT ALL!

Normally I’d go to bat for creators over producers, but Fuller going wildly over-budget and claiming creative differences before leaving or being fired from a show is about as predictable as the sun rising in the east at this point.

This sounds like basically every other Bryan Fuller TV show

Artist: corporations are evil

They don’t care if you say corporations are evil if you don’t specifically mention them. Stewart said some way more contentious things than this on the show.

Been there, Dune that.

It worked for Dune, apparently.

never let the fact that something is unfilmable stop you from filming it at least 3 times.

“Christ, you’re seriously planning to announce a cartoon version of Watchmen with a really ugly art style? When were you planning to do it?

Sure, no kidding. I’ve got all the Charlton stuff. So Lindelof could’ve just renamed them all similarly, right? Why not. It’s not outrageous to say making them more original worked for Moore and Gibbons and could’ve worked for Lindelof too? Then he’d be the visionary satirist of contemporary America or something in

I felt like the end was the weakest part of the show in a way that somewhat diminished the impact of the rest of it, but I know I’m in the minority on that.

This family is amazing... I know them pretty well. Everybody here has seen Keith Kupferer before too. He’s the guy who screams at Harvey Dent in the press conference in The Dark Knight, and the demolition worker who tears down Will Ferrell’s apartment in Stranger Than Fiction, and Stanley Tucci’s goon who tries to

I figured you would be more familiar with his kneeling height

if anyone ever had the displeasure of reading that particular jj abrams script (it was leaked online back when people used to leak scripts and stuff all the time) it was...awful. at the end it was revealed that luthor was also kryptonian and they had a matrix-style kung fu fight.

Mathezar briefly believed that Galaxy Quest was made up while he and Jason were captured by Sarris. By the time the good guys turned the tables, he was back to believing it was real and that the only “lie” had been pretending it was all fictional to fool Sarris.

I love when people casually drop stuff like It’s just a touching of all the seven resonators” and you’re given this glimpse of things you never knew existed.

And Alan Rickman played a serious actor who was constantly being recognised for a role he once played in a popular piece of junk culture a long time ago ... so yeah... perfect fit.

Exactly. You have to not like the guy, so Tim Allen was perfect

I can absolutely see Kevin Kline, especially back then, playing a Star Trek-style starship captain (or an actor who’s made a career out of playing one) and doing pretty well at it. But I just can’t see him carrying that faux-Shatner energy. There are certainly other actors who could do that (Bruce Campbell could make

Colantoni gives probably the best performance of the film, which is pretty amazing given how this features some of the best acting Tim Allen’s ever done (not saying too much), as well as amazing performances from Tony Shalhoub, Sigourney Weaver, Sam Rockwell, Rickman, etc.
