Everyone seems to have the same opinion of the skin. It's horrid. What possessed them to go with that look?

Yams are denser. In my experience sweet potatoes are very hard to get crunchy. I've never made yam chips, but I imagine they would be easier for this recipe.

I've done that too. I even used those beads that hold the moisture and only have to be replenished once a week. Yep, still killed the bamboo. I've accepted that I can't be responsible for anything that doesn't bark or cry for me to feed it.

ehow is the one I disdain most of all. I make use of this extension, but it doesn't seem to improve search results much. I don't know what google did to screw their algorithm but I want the old one back. All I get anymore are spammy sites. I don't want 50k results from associated content!

Someone laid it out for me this way, "Non-profit is a tax status, not a business model." If they can get away with paying you less, they will. Ask.

6. Have a rich, well connected family that gets you into an ivy league school.

See: Wall Street Bailout circa 2008.

It's 14k over 5 years. I'm paying it off over 3. Already paid off 1.5 years. Now working on the other 1.5 years. Not impossible.

Dunno what you're driving but my car payment is way less than $350. I bought a car I knew I could pay off in 3 years (I make extra payments to keep the interest from accruing too much). I've always had used cars and after a few more years they start to be more trouble than they are worth (even with regular

I've been using this service. I haven't been able to link it to my most active card because the bank keeps declining the transaction, but overall, I love this concept of passive giving.

@MightyPez: It takes a while. I had mine in test mode for 10 minutes before I got anything back.

I have one gmail that I've used for nothing but private communication (mostly sending out resumes) and it gets bombarded with spam. I have NO idea how spammers found it. I finally abandoned using it for that purpose. I now use my regular email address and gmail does a great job of filtering. Go figure.

I know what they're getting at. If you're particularly poor in math hone in on your writing skills and you'll be happier. It reminds me of the "have the courage to fail" mantra of some self-help gurus. The mentality willfully ignores that failure has consequences, as do faults.

I use this app all the freaking time. It's not as clunky as Evernote, and I can access all my notes on the iPad which is awesome for meetings. I like the Elastic Threads fork because it offers a menubar icon and bookmarks. Also, it's good for work journaling.

This is a bit better than CeeVee, more options.

This reminds me of a guy I once knew that sold TVs at a now defunct retailer. He would sell customers on the TV's "Mono Cap" or some such completely made up metric. Surprisingly that worked quite frequently. I never liked him.

Does this profile change screw with the privacy settings?

You know what will happen a lot of people started doing this?

I love that this guy has a housekeeper and in the same post extols the virtue of getting rid of diapers and cars.
