When I was covered under my dad's AAA policy, tow truck drivers never questioned my wanting to get towed home. I even used the maximum number of miles allowed in a tow once to get from Madison, WI to Oshkosh, WI when the girlfriend's (now wife) car's mass airflow sensor went out halfway home.

Wasn't required reading for us in high school. I just read it within the last year.

I would wear the hell out of that shirt on casual Fridays.

Only the weirdest, strangest, goat-talking crazy-eyed nut would want to wear one of these tasteless, horrible, morally offensive excuses for automotive curiosity the world has ever seen. (Note: Jalopnik's esteemed Editor-in-Chief, Matt Hardigree, said he would totally rock one of these.) ($12.99)

Dammit! I thought of something like this 3 years ago and told my buddy about it, but of course didn't write anything down or do anything about it....Should have filed for a patent.

A rope would just loosen up the snow but wouldn't really clear anything.

I'm an engineer, so the small details are important. Along with that, I am a very curious person so I like to learn about lots of stuff. Combine those and correcting other people when they are wrong or don't know better sometimes turns annoying.

Same, I usually bring it up nonchalantly later in a context that is less annoying to my wife.

I've gotten better. I recognize the situations where a comment or correction would be out of place.

You must be kidding me. I said SOMETIMES. Not all the time. God forbid if I have an eye for detail.

It's a losing battle...

It's just that to me, if you're going to have some knowledge about something, it might as well be correct. Apparently after a while, those details become annoying to hear about.

Well shit, that's my problem right there.

Similar problem here, apparently sometimes when I talk, I sound like an asshole without ever trying to. You're not alone.

Well considering I only make those comments or corrections to her, I'm assuming it's only her I'm annoying.

What the effing F?!

Me too....

It's like a disorder....I don't like pissing her off but that bit of information sticks in the back of my mind trying to burrow it's way out.

I'm not impressed by your third gear pulls against someone's bone stock GT-R on I-35 because a) it takes zero talent to floor a street car in a straight line in ONE GEAR and b) dude probably just wanted to be left alone in his sweet ride and didn't even know your WRX that's held together with chewing gum and spit was
