I'm an engineer, so the small details are important. Along with that, I am a very curious person so I like to learn about lots of stuff. Combine those and correcting other people when they are wrong or don't know better sometimes turns annoying.

Same, I usually bring it up nonchalantly later in a context that is less annoying to my wife.

I've gotten better. I recognize the situations where a comment or correction would be out of place.
