There is a character with a sword in Mighty No. 9, who also happens to be red...but as for the hair, can't really say :)

This video is incredibly insightful to any level designers, or designers full stop. It shows the variation of a supposed linear level, the optimal routes, and the preferred routes. It shows how people play, and that can be measured against how you expected them to play. It's really cool stuff.
