Incidents like this are a big reason the Texas state House is taking up that NRA backed bill that makes it legal to shoot a teen if you think they are “attempting a prank, a goof, or shenanigans of any kind.”

It also says “Impeach Trump.” And I can’t be sure, but I think that’s followed by “& Dan,” too.

The fact that they explicitly include a job guarantee and a desire for a just transition into the GND would imply that they want to work with labor on this. Why they think this is somehow worse than everything Trump does to sell out workers is beyond me.

Member Unions and their respective locals are often short sighted and selfish when it comes to policy. I am a member of the AFL-CIO and I see this too often. For critics that see this as a way to attack the Union movement, the only thing worse than a Union is not having a Union.

Right?! The only way you would need to spend money on ACTUAL bribes to get your spawn into a PUBLIC UNIVERSITY is if your kid is such a stupid fuck-up that tutors aren’t cutting it*.

*I know this from experience as a tutor.

I don’t know what the “straw police” actually is, and neither does Devin Nunes. But what he does know is how to take something seemingly ridiculous - but without context - call it “socialism” and create a talking point for their mouth-breathing base.
