This was the entire reason the FCC "forced" the digital TV changeover on the American public. They wanted, what was the old UHF television frequencies. The government wanted to sell this chunk to the highest bidder. The consumers were the losers though. Digital TV, with the higher frequencies used, doesn't "reach"

Do you have a house, family and have to pay for 2 car? I have way better things to spend $300 on than another mower or weed whacker. And a new snowblower? Because people don't want their kids going to school in the dark in the winter. So we go back to standard time for all of 3 months. I say keep DST as the new year round 'standard' time.

I still disagree with this. Screw accidents or energy efficiency or your stupid heart if waking up an hour earlier shuts it down. Daylight later in the evening is FREAKING WONDERFUL AND MAKES LIVING LIFE BETTER.
