Do you have a house, family and have to pay for 2 car? I have way better things to spend $300 on than another mower or weed whacker. And a new snowblower? Forget it... mine is a 10 year old handmedown, and I plan to keep that thing running until I die. I see people in my neighborhood with snowblowers from the 70's.
that’s GOTTA be Chicago.
Silly question: After seeing that the engine was seized, why didn’t you just swap the stuff from the $300 bike to the $75 one?
I figured you were, I'm fairly certain that when the end of the world comes the only thing running will be a 3800 Powered Impala Taxi and a Crown Vic.
Nothing gets good gas mileage at 75mph.... The drag at 75mph is nearly double the drag at 60mph. Physics.
I know some of the guys who work on this project, and several who used to work there, and as far as my most recent conversation with one who still is there (today, just after I read about Sling TV's CES announcement), it does do some form of bandwidth adjusting. Beyond its existence, I cannot say, because it wasn't a…
Oh man, is it ever an art... The real trick (if your schedule allows for occasional late evenings of DIY) is to do a 4-hour rental less than 4 hours before closing, so you get through the following morning for the same price!
Oh good lord, can we please do away with Sharkbite fittings? They're great upfront, and for several years are no problem at all, but over a longer timeframe, they break down and leak. There's a reason they're not suitable for use inside walls and the like, because you can't see when they fail.
Where the hell do you live that is so restrictive? I want to know to make sure I never move there. That sounds worse than any HOA. And how would they ever know if you replaced an outlet?
When a BMW owner is the one driving responsibly...
Happened in Rockford with the Bears game, too, as if living here wasn't bad enough.
So suck it up, bub. Attitude doesn't affect the content of the advice. Rejecting this, solely because it is "judgemental and preachy" is very much throwing out the baby with the bathwater.
We can blame this culture now...just look at parents who let their kids walk by themselves (oh my God perish the thought <sarcasm here>) and then get jailed for it...it's often NOT because parents are overprotective BUT because we have allowed govt to restrict or even take away OUR FREEDOMS to parent....think about…
Good point, probably more a Fascist type of name. They love that kind of hyper nationalistic stuff.
Actually there are fewer dangers for kids today than at any time in history. It's just that if something sensational happens to a kid half way around the world you will hear about it immediately, and your local oriented brain puts that incident next door. 30 or 40 years ago you would have never heard of something…
Unfortunately people are not rational creatures they are rationalizing creatures ( I forget who said that) meaning they fixate on rare and unusual things that may happen while neglecting those much more common things that can happen - So you get rationalizing like. "But if I allow little Johnny to walk a block to…
"we shouldn't structure our lives around something that's about as likely as a lightning strike.", which is 1 in 5,500,00, yet we've structured our lives and our government around the possibility of being killed by an act of terrorism, which is 1 in 20,000,000.
