That's me. I want to see them drive fast cars and drive them fast. If they can beat a boat to Spain while driving the worlds smallest car, good for them, but I don't need to see it. The trip across Europe with a couple supercars or across america with some american muscle cars I'll watch though.

That's what I mean, everyone likes different things about it. I was probably hasty with the road trips, I do like those most of the time. Challenges always seem so scripted to me though.

Me too. I think about it quite a bit when I watch Top Gear USA and wish it was better. Or when I hear about the guys at Drive who can't quite figure out how to make Video car shows work. I don't think anybody has gotten it completely right yet, but Top Gear (UK) has gotten the closest. Entertaining people, driving

The thing I am always surprised by is how everyone seems to have different opinions about what makes Top Gear great. I agree that it is great and I also agree that it has lost something in recent years. I think part of it is something you mentioned about the car soccer.... they've kind of done it all before.

Don't they just pay for it in higher taxes?

Never heard of this and so glad you brought it up. Coolest thing ever.

Now playing

Clarkson actually drove the GT90 on top gear back in the day.

I loved the early need for speeds and I love the GT90. Wish they would break it out for some Ford GT history.

Greatest of the 2000's? No

My wife has just recently started Tamoxifen. She's heard horror stories about it, but so far it hasn't been too bad. It's been a rough year for sure, double mastectomy, chemo, radiation, and now the tamoxifen (all at 33 years old). She has been a champ through all of it though and is doing very well all things

"The light is recombined on the other side, and for a window of trillionths of a second, whatever goes on in that gap is undetectable."

Probably Roebling Road. I would take the Cobra R over the Viper or Z06 as well. Unless the Viper was an ACR then it would be a tough choice.

I bottomed out an S-10 on a road near Tulane in New Orleans. It was pretty amazing since the street was lined with what I am sure are nearly million dollar houses. I'm happy to report they have since resurfaced that road and it's not so bad, but there are still plenty of roads I wouldn't dare take a car down.

Well said. Every car is a compromise. At the very least it's a compromise between performance and cost. This is also why I find it pointless to argue why one car is better than another. It might be better at the things important to you, but that's probably not the same for everyone.

I would really appreciate a summary of what the man in the foreground is saying. When he starts making the "baby crying" gestures towards (?someone else in the stands?) I decided i needed to know what he was saying.

I can't imagine a scenario where this man shouldn't be charged with Manslaughter or 2nd degree murder. As many other people have said, don't open the door if you are scared for your life. I can't imagine being scared enough to grab a gun and yet opening the door and firing before you call the cops. Did she try to

Early C3s were good. LT1 or LS6. When you look at a C3 you think those fender bulges are huge, then you sit inside of it and they look 10 times bigger. Cool looking car for sure.

He does allow that some tires exceed a friction coefficient of one and specifically mentions drag racers.

I just imagine the scene, preferred lubricant at the ready. New box of kleenex. Turns on the TV.

Next Camaro won't be based on the second gen any more than the current one is based on the third gen. It will lose some weight. I'm 60/40 on the 4 cylinder.
