Ah, wow, there were a TON of spoilerific Book 3 leaks, today! If you're interested, you can read them here. I personally just read the episode titles and looked at the screenshots, but I think in the comment thread for the screenshots, there's a link to some released episodes as well. I'm gonna wait until they're

Santa Monica hasn't been so bad in getting the Expo Line there, it's just their general incompetence when it comes to TODs. It's a shame the Bergamot plan was repealed because most old white folks (that's literally the largest demographic against rail expansion and overall new development in SaMo, as per a survey

It's kind of interesting how much of the Antelope Valley's streets were built more recently. That being said, I don't think I could ever live in Lancaster or Palmdale - perhaps two of the most depressing cities I've been in, quite frankly. Outside of Vegas, that is.

It would be awesome if LA could get the 2024 Olympics. All the new rail lines might get sped up, more hotels built, and hopefully that would push the feds to more quickly revitalize the river, too. If it can secure it, then maybe I'll try attending a few events, since by then I'll hopefully be back home from college

Yeah! Hopefully they'll release Book 3 soon, and I think they're a decent way into Book 4 as well.

I agree, my favourite game in the whole series is Birth by Sleep. That game just got so many things right, I loved it.

Actually, it was only the first season where they weren't sure if there would be others. Mid-way through season 1 they approved the other 3 books, which is why Book 2 backtracks a little to get things in order for the following books. The creators even referred to Book 2 as kind of the second half of Book 1, so most

You should definitely watch the rest of Book 2. The first couple of episodes were a little iffy, yeah, but from 7 and 8 (Beginnings, parts 1 and 2) onward, it is absolutely amazing.

Accepted is a bit of a subjective term. Really depends on where you are.

Wow. It's kind of interesting, as I never knew this, but I remember wishing a couple times last year that Wilshire actually went further through downtown instead of dead-ending where it currently does (that was an interesting night...I managed to get on the last Red Line train to NoHo at 2:23 in the morning, too).

Let's hope the "Glassellland" sign can stay this time, too!

I would say that's true, but mostly only for young people who haven't lived in/around L.A. I'm 18, lived in South LA and Van Nuys, went to middle and high school in Brentwood and the Palisades, respectively, and everyone I met knew it was originally "Hollywoodland" - we just never knew where the "-land" went :P

Well the good thing about the proposals in CA (well, that I know of) is that HSR is still treated as a liability. I know LA's Union Station Master Plan, for example, wouldn't even necessarily build the HSR terminal (on the far east side of the property) unless it would be known for sure that HSR would get built. If it

Hehe, it was mostly meant as a joke xP It wasn't that their voice actors are bad, I was alluding to the stereotype that the Japanese are pervs and like their characters young (Bravely Default comes to mind), and when hearing a human voice come from a life-like animal is already creepy, I can't imagine what it'd be

I dunno, considering the Japanese, something tells me it'd only be worse.

I'm a furry, and I find this to be rather creepy as fuck, haha. Talking animals are fine if they're done right...otherwise, it's just cringe-worthy.

Also keep in mind that L.A.'s DWP has enough water saved up to last a couple more years at least. It's not that we aren't water-conscious - like Deckard said, cities only generally use 10% of the water consumption in the state - it's just that we've been saving water for so long (from previous drought-scares and dry

Or at least the option. I don't mind that so much. However, one thing I'm pretty sure they used to have that they don't have anymore (at least not as easily) is the ability to just shuffle an album. I don't care where I found this song - whether in a playlist, through the Songs tab, or browsing the artist - it should

I dunno where else to bring it up, but I'll bring it up here: do alarms not work for iPod Touches? I swear, every time I've tried to use my iPod Touch as an alarm clock, it never works. It's like it just doesn't know what an alarm is and acts like I never made it in the first place (I've had this issue across all the
