Didn’t Cruz marry his beard years ago? RIMSHOT!!!

The spirit if T-Dog lives on in every named character they introduce that has nothing to do.

Judge Perd?  More like Judge Turd, am I right?

Jury! Jury! Jury! Jury!

Take care of yourself and each other.

Wake me when they retool it as Judge Jerry and Executioner.

It’s a big lake.

If the show can have two totally different versions of the Loch Ness Monster...

Oh for sure they started the old stupid ball rolling. I just don’t think the answer is to throw ourselves onto that ball and get stuck there Katamari-style. I think you let people say whatever dumb thing they're gonna say about it and move on. (Though I would consider it a fair accusation to say that they only

I actually like Superman Returns. I like the cast a lot except for Kate Bosworth who is okay but didn’t really capture Lois IMO. Spacey was good as Lex and Posey as his girl. Routh was a good Superman. It’s problem was that the script was weak. There were some good parts but overall not so good.

People are gonna hate me on this but... I kinda liked “Ghostbusters”. I mean, no it wasn’t as good as the original or anything, but it was goofy enough fun that i never actually hated myself for going to see it. I liked the chemistry the cast had (for the most part) and enjoyed it more than I am supposed to have.

SAME!  Once I realized who it was, I wondered how I got so old.

Not even close. The reason “fridging” is a problem was because it’s representative of how, in comic stories, the people getting fridged were vastly disproportionately women. Killing (or harming) a secondary character to motivate the protagonist is something that will never go away (nor should it).

Fridging is an over used critique at this point. Someone dying to motivate others and further a plot is pretty basic writing. The Death of Superman turned into “How does Superman’s death affect others and create new characters???” That doesn’t mean he was fridged.

Honest question: can it be called ‘fridging’ if the person at hand was never really a character?

Is it really ‘fridging’ if the character being motivated is the VILLAIN? I recognize that signalling ‘wokeness’ is now supposed to be our main responsibility as culture consumers, but, uh, does this mean that the death of a female character can never ever ever be a motivating factor for a male character under any

Of course I know why. It’s because it undervalues female characters by treating them as mere plot objects for the male characters and their existence becomes defined by how they impacted a man’s life.

Its not a cliche.

No. Grow up.

The Finale really doesn’t deserve a D. Yes, the girl in the freezer is the literal definition of that cliche, but it worked great as the motive for Bullseye to turn against Fisk and made her quick death a relevant plot point. And I have a feeling that every single British person wishes that they could do to Piers
