Wasn’t the Godzilla there, but it was the wrong version? I know I read something about Roseanne owning the original and refusing to bring it back, so Sara Gilbert bought a replacement. That Godzilla toy on the shelf, more than anything, made it feel like I was watching my house. lol

I’ve seen people say it’s irresponsible for a TV network to air a show featuring Trump supporters. That suggests nearly half the country (at least going by 2016 voters) should be shunned and buried out of view. I’m far from being a Trump supporter, and I don’t think that’s a viable notion. As long as Roseanne keeps on

Roseanne has gotten way out there in real life, but I really doubt the show is going to go start promoting crappy conspiracy theories and such. Thankfully she’s not making this on her own. I like all of the original series aside from the many jump-the-shark moments in the final seasons. I’m so relieved they undid

We already had an episode about embracing and supporting a kid who doesn’t want to adhere to gender norms. I definitely don’t think this show is pandering to conservatives.

Yeah, I don’t think this show is going to be a mouthpiece for Trump. So far, there was the confrontation between Roseanne and Jackie (which they put behind them because it beats not talking for a year), and a whole episode dedicated to supporting a kid who chooses not to adhere to gender norms in his clothing. It’s

Well, that’s interesting. The only posts not wholeheartedly against this show are the only ones pending.

Despite the controversy of the star’s views, it seems like there’s a diversity of opinions in the writer’s room, and the show is presenting different viewpoints. Just like real life. Cheers on the renewal!

I never thought I’d find a review of “Passion of the Christ” so amusing, but that is the gift we have in Sean O’Neal.

So true that Patty Hearst would have been a great season! As for Katrina, I’m not sure how that’s going to go because it doesn’t seem as contained a narrative to cover.

No, Sir, I don’t like it.

I hate Trump, love the show, just don’t care.

I have to admit, it does feel like he’s mobilizing all the followers he gained from a just cause to avenge a personal insult. Seems kind of beneath him.

I wouldn’t trust these people to send me to Takoma, let alone Mars.

If you view a vote for trump as equating “supports nazis,” then that does make sense in that stark worldview.

I doubt Dan made that statement because he wants to harass women. I believe it had more to do with the less hurtful norms and trappings he perceives as masculine. Could it be easy to perceive there is a “down with men” notion notion aside from all the Weinstein stuff? Sure.

Embrace and enable are different degrees, though. With people like Dan and Roseanne, I can see how they voted based on what was most important to them - the economy - and didn’t consider or, frankly, DIDN’T CARE about the other awful things that Trump represented because it just didn’t effect their lives. I personally

All I suggested was you probably shouldn’t disown your own mother just because she voted for Trump. I stand by this as good advice.

I felt like nothing that happened seemed out-of-character for the characters as we knew them. Their back-and-forth was spot on.

I’m also coming from a place of considering myself liberal but not completely agreeing with all the fiery viewpoints that are now associated with that political leaning. I feel like I’m in the middle, and there just is no middle anymore (or not one that many people accept - you’re with us 100% or against us).

Yeah, that implies the reviewer is certain she has the authoritative view of something hard to quantify. Not sure you can truly say more than there ARE rifts and bridges? And it depends on the topic and civility of the people discussing it?
