But then you have people quick to label things “mansplaining” and such. I can at least see why Dan would think that.

That’s a horrible thing to call the reviewer. I did somewhat disagree with her perception, though. “Masculinity” as traditionally defined or depicted does seem to be under criticism in a lot of ways, so I totally understood why Dan would say that and don’t think it’s outright false.

AWESOME post. Well-said, glad to see some sanity.

In the end, the show was still funny, I don’t think it missed much of a beat, and it depicted real, complicated people. I’m glad they pulled this off so well.

You’re such a drama llama.

I was so happy to see that the G-Man was still on the shelf in the living room, and I think that’s amazing that you were able to tell it was the wrong one. I thought Godzilla looked taller, maybe? Cool to hear this will be fixed.

Some of the commentators here would have you disown her for that vote.

She’s not the only writer on the show.

Yeah, I felt like the storyline managed to be both respectful and realistic.

I thought Jackie fit the character as she was on the old show, and I’ve seen plenty of Roseanne repeats in recent years.

It’d be cool if Jerry showed up at some point. I doubt he will, but at least they acknowledge his existence.

Yay, I don’t have to grow up!

It’s nice to see this show getting the respect it deserves. It’d be nice to get reviews!

That 007 sketch was pretty good.

YES!!!!

Mine still has a decent Blue-Ray/DVD section, but the CD aisle is like a quarter of an aisle.

THIS would totally feel like a piece of my childhood dying. Heck, my present day!

I can see that, but there are a few I’ve enjoyed. Like the Rick Grimes dad jokes. lol This one just has an air of smug superiority, no matter who’s posting it.
