Emo Philips or GTFO.
Oz funneling money into his own “charity” bothered me - on top of his being him.
Oh haven’t read anything. I was going by the final stinger in Wandavision. The Necronom... Er... “Darkhold” has her in its clutches.
You could feel Bruce Villanch working through them all.
‘... this likely being a bit.’
Isn't wanda being setup as a villain?
Fair enough, but... I thought Valkyrie had retired to be mayor of a small town in Norway, Monica Rambeau’s show ended, the Dora Millaje had their own problems with the untimely passing of their title character, and Captain Marvel was mostly selling cars at this point.
Seems like it has more potential than most of the episodes these days.
So, are there ANY women characters (besides Kat Dennings) not playing villains left alive in the MCU at this point?
Wow. She sucks more than was apparent from her boring-ass music.
to the point of actually seriously injuring themselves
Pfft. The Boomers were the first to destroy guitars and pianos. Gen X kept up the tradition. The difference was, it was spontaneous... Not some contrived “aren’t I precious,” try-hard, choreography.
I thought Earth to Ned captured a lot of the absurdity of the original show (combined with Space Ghostian Dadaism.)
“Hindering and opposing”
2016 Ghostbusters was unfunny enough to make me revisit the original and realize that it wasn’t funny either. The original did the remake one better, and in places managed to be genuinely fucking annoying. To wit:
I’ll be glad when supervillains - particularly to female heroes - are not just more dignified versions of Donald Trump (Jack Robertson, Max Lord). I find the real one unimpressive, and now that he’s gone I don’t have to think about him.
No, no.. a bucket wearing a tiara symbolizes Paris Hilton. It's clearly "The Hottie and the Nottie".
