Agreed.  This has zero appeal to me.  “The Boys” has a shelf life as well that it is exceedingly getting close to.

I only watched a few episodes of Counterpart. I thought it was okay, but it didn’t grab me. Does it go wildly off the rails at some point?

So, studios shouldn’t put out more than the barest of teasers until the movie is all but in the can?

Misdirections in a superhero trailer are one thing. Excluding an actor who was in the trailer is another. I certainly wouldn’t have even thought of suing. But people should speak up.

Soon enough, all streamers will begin showing ads, so we’ll long for the days of pay cable. 

Everything is a waste of Sofia Boutella’s talents. At least she’s the star this time.

How Snyder has a cult and keeps getting work is only explainable through voodoo. Dude hasn’t changed or improved since “300". He even wants a director cut of his worst movie, “Sucker Punch”. Meaning his mentality is still somewhere in the early 2000's.

I can totally see Synder fanboys saying something like, "They are NOT Space Nazis, they are just trying to Make Space Great Again!"

Snyder has used some variation of the Gladiator wheat field scene so many times now it’s just comical. Once is an homage. Multiple times is bereft of imagination.

I think that’s what throws me about the Snyder fandom: his movies look like ass, yet the visuals are probably the aspect his fans find most defensible.

The Boys is close to its sell by date as it is.  This looks like it adds zero to that canon.  Better start thinking about a way to wrap it all up as opposed to expanding it.

The only real compelling hook in The Boys at this point is ‘How do you stop Psychotic Asshole Superman?’, I’m kinda interested in seeing what they can do without that.
