My wife told me about this when I was about to leave for work this morning, and I got a little choked up. I’m still in a bit of shock. I just saw Keri’s “time machine” post yesterday but didn’t suspect anything. As the article says, maybe it was a coincidence.

Between BattleBots, MythBusters, and building Geoff for the Craig Ferguson Show, Grant Imahara was an integral part of some of my favorite TV from the past decade.

What a wonderful sentiment.  Thanks for sharing.

There are people I wouldn’t mind dropping dead of a sudden aneurysm. Grant was not one of them. Fuck you 2020. Here’s hoping the last myth you busted wasn’t the afterlife. RIP.

Man WTF. 2020 is getting worse by the day. RIP Grant. You’ll be sorely missed.

I don't think a celebrity death has affected me this much since Bourdain. Fuck this, man.

All the wrong people dying...

What on fucking earth?????? What is this fucking bullshit????

RIP, man.

He was always a joy to watch.

This fucking sucks. I went to high school with Grant, and he was one of those people who literally never said or did a single thing that wasn’t kind or thoughtful. When he made it big, doing the weirdly brilliant stuff he loved, I was happy, because it meant the world was working the way it was supposed to: greatly

This really hurts. Dude was my favorite Mythbuster growing up. He was so immensely charismatic and talented.

We all liked Kari, such a sweet lady.  I feel so sorry for her right now.

Fuck 2020. This fucking sucks. My heart goes out to the Mythbusters crew because you could tell they all actually liked each other.

Grant was an awesome part of Myth Busters. I’m saddened by this news.

In a perfect world Grant would have died in some sort of fucked up Westworld scenario at the hands of robots he constructed. That he died of natural causes at what should have been middle age is just sad. Best wishes to his family.

This one sucks. Like a lot. Mythbusters was a great show, but for me it really took off and came into its own when the Build Team came on. Kari, Grant and Tori just had great chemistry together. I miss the show quite a bit actually and was disappointed no other version involving the old crew ever really took off. And

2020 just needs to stop. For like five seconds.

This is a real kick in the teeth. I loved all of the Build Team (and had a major crush on Kari), but I particularly enjoyed Grant’s enthusiasm and inventiveness. What a sad, far too young loss.

I remember when he was hypnotised and given the suggestion to play the tuba or something when one of the other team members said a key word. When the word came up, he just had a confused expression on his face and then burst out laughing, thus proving that you can suggest something to someone under hypnosis but can’t

What the FUCK

Oh, man.  I enjoyed the hell out of the build team’s antics.  Grant in particular was great.
