This was a mistake, Popeyes should have stuck to flavors they know and can justify. Adding bacon, cheese, and bbq sauce is putting a hat on a hat. Those things work on a burger because the burger melds with the other flavors pretty well, you get a texture that plays with its friends. Fried chicken doesn’t enjoy

plus you arent buying from anti-lgbtq asshats....though Popeyes is a corp and im sure they are douchenozzles too.

I mean pickles on sandwiches of all kinds predates Chickfila probably by a century.

Ive had 3 chicken sandwiches so far that I pair with the red beans and rice so good and just last week I stopped for my fourth and the drive through line was blocking the entrance. Good is good and people will come.

Agreed, also I’m firmly of the opinion that a BBQ chicken sandwich shouldn’t be breaded fried chicken.

The Popeye’s version is bigger and a better value.

Do you mean they ripped off the idea of putting a pickle on chicken sandwich from Chik-Fil-a or do you find it very similar in taste? To me, the Popeye’s pickle tastes pretty different and are a bit better, imo. Maybe it’s the taste combination with the sauce and that they seem to be bigger slices, idk.

Of course there are plenty of nice people in LA. You just have to find your crowd, which is entirely possible in a metro area of 9 million.

jesus...

That’s why I stopped watching Mean Tweets clips from Jimmy Kimmel Live. It was ok to watch the people who clearly don’t care, but every once in a while there’s a celeb reading a tweet that clearly bothers them. Not fun to watch.

That’s fair. I’m a huge, huge MCU fan(and just a huge comics fan in general). But I also understand very well Scorsese’s “they’re not cinema” statement and find myself agreeing with it more often than not. Their best aspects are not tied to filmmaking. As films go, “mediocre” isn’t too unkind a way to describe them.

Here’s my Avatar story:

i’m betting Animal Crossing has twice as many articles as Endgame. What does this mean? I don’t know, that people love mediocrity?

I liked Avatar. I would rate it exactly as any MCU movie: mediocre.

I still find it funny that a lot of people insist nobody likes Avatar and it only made so much money because it was re-released and it was in 3D and stuff, but fail to realize that no matter how many times it was released, people wouldn’t have gone to see it if they didn’t want to. Nobody was forcing anyone to watch

Yes. Because things that are fun and well done are better than schadenfreude.

It seems to me like the more works you accuse something of ripping off, the weaker your case is for it being a ripoff, since that means it’s just using elements that’ve been used for countless other stories. Maybe that’s why people who bash Avatar for being unoriginal like to stick to just a few examples, because the

My 12 year has been really into it, she was/is still playing BOTW (she solved it, and the DLC, and everything in Master Mode, and then started doing speed runs, hahaha ...). She was big into Minecraft (@ff3 is right on using that as an example), really like Mario Maker 2. She’s been playing videogames for years.

Wow, imagine investing $90 trillion into making hyper-realistic GTA graphics when all you needed to do to make bank was put some cute animals on an island.

They must be just swimming in Nook Miles
