My two couldn't care less about driving. Even at 17, the oldest didn't want to drive anywhere, he'd rather I drop him off at his friends house. After a while I told him I was tired of being his chauffeur and if he wanted to go somewhere, drive himself.
I used to use a windows version of this at another company, but now I can't remember it. Specifically, I was able to set the order of the programs that loaded and the delay time of when they started. Anyone out there have any idea of what it was?
I'll give two weeks notice, but I've also walked out on jobs. There doesn't seem to be any real employee/employer loyalty anymore. The company's only looking out for itself, and vice versa for the employee. Sure, they want you to give at least two weeks notice, but when was the last time a company gave you two weeks…
I've never turned down a job offer, but I have cut interviews short when I didn't think the job was going to be what I wanted. I simply say "Thanks for taking the time to see me, but I don't see myself fitting this position very well. I'm looking for something more along the line of...".
"Look at it from your boss's point of view and think about how you can communicate a process for disengagement that is respectful of the situation."
As a photographer, I color match my printer and monitor about every 3-4 months. This looks to make that process a bit less painful. I'll have to give it a try when I get home.
I use MS OneNote for the ability to sync across all three of my devices and platforms.

They're right next to the left handed smoke shifter.
I didn't get to see it run, but the team was saying they were shooting for the 200 mph mark that week.
IBM 8088 with a 2o meg hard drive and 256k memory. Running AutoCAD 2.5 that came on 10 5.25 inch floppy disks. ahhh... the good ole days.
One thing I've always done, or have not done, is take a shot of the very first view of my subject that I see. If I'm hiking along a path, and come up to a beautiful overlook, I won't immediately take a picture of it. That's the one that everyone else snaps a photo of. I'll walk around a bit and try to find a more…
Growing up in So Cal in the 60's-70's, near LA, I can remember having smog days at school, when you weren't allowed to go outside and run around during recess. We had to stay indoors and keep our activity levels low.
Something I've had to do in an older house that had plaster walls and ceiling instead of drywall was paint the ceiling and wall different colors. Because the plaster at the edges aren't really that straight, the two colors would end up showing this wavy line of the two different colors. What I ended up doing was,…
I have twin sisters, and when they were in their twenties, they would switch licenses when they got pulled over. One had all the tickets on it and one was clean, and they would switch depending on the situation.
Hey, the hamster dudes are rockin'
Every year we MAKE our two boys, now 16 and 19, sit down and watch The Christmas Story with us. They piss and moan, but deep down, I think they enjoy it.
Mother in law bought us a Filter Queen canister vacuum for a wedding present. Our 25th anniversary is in a couple of months, and so far, all we've done is replace the hose, it just wore out.
