Drag. Moving through the water is very difficult, the more a boat can move on top and over the water the less drag and more efficient it becomes. It’s like why airplanes don’t drive on the ground.

.

Thats the “I have introduced myself to the police station and hopefully I wont be shot while unarmed later” face

The tax isn’t going to change anything, it’s clearly an easy money grab from the government. Nobody is going to change behavior because of it:
The majority of intra-EU flights are either business travels(so the flyers themselves don’t pay) or holiday travels from Germany/UK to Spain&Italy, and half a beer isn’t going

Its a civil, civil asset forfeiture. As soon as the bank can prove the money was not going to be used for illicit purposes then I would gladly return it. You know, the same hoops the police make law abiding citizens jump through.

To anyone thinking about returning that money; look at the face on the guy in the middle. That is what immediate regret looks like. That is also what your face does when you’ve just proposed to a woman that you don’t even like.

we have video, we have tag numbers. We have footage of people on the interstate. What we’re asking the public to do is bring the money back

Apparently the cash-carrying vehicle’s minders “didn’t even know they had lost their money until another driver pulled up next to them and told them,”

Fuck them cops! Keep that money people!

I found some bills in my mailbox.... can I return those as well?

Alas, local police are being real sticklers about returning what “belongs to the bank” or whatever.

Sure, but when the bank “loses” my deposit, it’s my fault all of a sudden.

Yeah...I found this 10,000 on the side of the road. Good thing I picked up that 9,000 dollars. Who knows what you would do if $8,000 went missing. Damn shame about that $7,000.

I dont get it either. I just got back from NYC....went there to eat. I swear to you, my only mission for 36hrs was to see how many “iconic” food spots I could find and how much I can stuff my face.

As someone from Columbus, OH, I don’t understand why people think you can’t get good Indian or Chinese or pretty much any other kind of food outside NYC. I mean, I think like everywhere else we started with less authentic restaurants but now people are seeing that sharing their actual cuisine works well here.

Living in, working in, visiting, and being generally anywhere near NYC sounds miserable.

I swear to god, the valid reasons to not eat the rich become less tenable every day....

Op: doesn’t want to make a poor life choice

Don’t kink shame.
