I’ve already lost one to rust. This one is basically rust free except for the rockers so I’m determined to save it. Also still has <100k miles on it and is a stick. The manuals are getting harder and harder to find these days. I’m tempted to get a rust-free auto and try a conversion.

That was my thought as well. Got a cheap HF flux welder in case I suck at it, I’m not out much. My mistake was not realizing HOW bad the rust was. If it was just the outer rocker I would’ve been done by now, but the inner was also toast. There’s been a lot of sitting and building up courage to cut away more and more.

I go back to rain-x every few years. Sometimes it works amazing, other times it seems to do nothing. I have no idea why as I apply it according to the bottle every time.

Idk about Siri, but it was easy to turn off the Google assistant from listening. I used to have it only listen when it was in Android Auto, but I turned that off eventually too.

AFAIK no other vehicle has that swaybar or the trail turn assist feature. I hope you’re right and I’m wrong.
