This is a password manager. And honestly, if you’re worried about how secure your password data is and if you can get all your passwords stolen at once, a completely analog, offline password manager might be the safest. Obviously it’s possible that it’ll get lost or stolen in person, but very few attackers are

It’s an excellent read. I found it to be soooorta reminiscent of Moby Dick in the sense that The Overstory’s “plot” and character particulars were Richard Powers’ excuse to teach the reader a great deal about trees. And while character study is more central to Moby Dick, Melville used the conceit of chasing the white

Never even heard about it prior to this article; let alone read it but here’s a link to preview(or purchase ) it as an ebook:

Wouldn’t even have 7 in my top 3, or top 5 even.

I think when 6 and 7 are both in the top 3, it’s hard to argue with their placing.

The ending of VII legitimately ruins the game for me. It's absolute garbage.

No

You provided a link to an article whose headline is “Forget Mystic Quest” and then evidently did actually forget about final fantasy mystic quest in your list of all single player final fantasies?

LOL at this ranking list! 😆 😆 🤣

Pretty good list. My only beefs are that 9 should have been ranked much higher. Certainly higher than 5. 7 shouldn’t be the first place, 6 should have been. I know 7 carries the series’ flag even to this day, but going back and playing it through with modern eyes showed me how much I loved the game simply because

putting 5 above 9 is such a good troll, they almost got me

move VII down 7 spots and you’re golden

Having no nostalgia attached to FF7, I agree with your take. I feel most of the praise it gets is due to the nostalgia people have for the game.

FF7R ...just doesn’t count? I like it more than the comparable portions of FF7, and it does a considerably better job of world building. That being said, I’d much prefer if it had a turn-based / ATB combat mechanic to go with all the pretty graphics.

I knew VII would end up in the number 1 spot (undeservedly IMHO - I’m sorry, VI is and always will be better).. but wow, you did IV dirty.

Come on, FF IV is one of the most important and influential JRPGs of all time and you have it 10th?

I am both 0% surprised, and 100% disappointed to see FF7 at the top of this list.

I acknowledge VII’s impact on the series as well as the fact that it was the first game in the series to be experienced by most...but from a story telling perspective it has nothing on the masterpiece that is VI, with VII being a confusing mess in comparison. I’ve played the vast majority of the FF games and VII does

You can’t ignore them. There’s this mentality that “if we ignore the problem it’ll go away...” but the issue is they take ignoring them as a sign of victory and push harder.
