Of course misogyny played a part. But that doesn't lie solely at our feet. Turnout is up across the board, and the sanders campaign actually had a ground game this time. More people were going to turn out.  Turnout has been higher for biden too, with less of a ground game.  That's every bit as much misogyny with them…

Sanders has the second most diverse coalition of voters and leads black voters under 50. He appeals to black voters just fine. He doesnt appeal to old people.

We see Trump as the symptom of neoliberal policies. He’s the villain du jour, but his defeat doesn’t touch the root of the problem. If Biden wins, little will change and another Trump will take his place 4 years later.

Sanders could beg his followers to get onboard the Biden train, but they won’t. Biden’s senile, conservative (In many ways, to the right of Trump rhetorically) and the left of the party is demoralized. Trump is in good shape to win in November right now. Democrats should be worried. It’s gonna be a long general.
