Why not? There is already electricity lines in national forests; why not install charging stations at paved parking lots?
Seeing as national forests are used currently for logging, and are criss-crossed with both electrical lines and gas stations, I’d say yes, of course, installing charging stations in parking lots where people ALREADY DRIVE in gas-powered cars is green.
