@80Kofdrew: The worst part is that Ford and Chevy both sell small trucks with diesels elsewhere in the world. I'd love to get my hands on a South American Ranger Quad-Cab diesel.

@ThaMofo: FreeBSD, Solaris, probably other Unix-alikes, too.

I use the Hide Menubar extension with the Classic Compact theme on my netbook and that gives me enough viewable space, especially after I turn off the bookmarks toolbar. Download Statusbar in mini-mode also cleans up the UI a bit, but doesn't really do a lot to maximize the viewable area. And there's fullscreen mode

@PhilESkyline: Even if they sold it separately, it would wind up being over $200. Microsoft lives in a dream world where a cheap plastic enclosure more than doubles a hard drive's price. By their standards, this bundle is a bargain.

@Jurandr: I always hated the powertoy vdm. I found that it didn't manage windows worth shit, and the last time I used it, I wound up with windows from all desktops in the taskbar. I couldn't find any way to set them to only show the windows from the current desktop, or send apps to another desktop. In all, it felt

@CypressCarNut: Just tell them it's something more subtle and flattering. How will they know?

@Deartháir II: The Return: From a dealership, you can get them for quite a bit cheaper than $50000 if you option them right. My dad got his truck new in 2005 for under CA$25000 with a 5.4, automatic, and 4x4. It was a regular cab, though, with not much else in the way of options. This price would probably go down

@WindowsBreakerG4 salutes those fallen soldiers: They don't own 100% of Mazda. Japanese foreign ownership laws mean that they can only own a certain percentage of the company. At one point, Ford owned 30-something percent of Mazda, but I believe that's gone down considerably within the past couple of years.

@skaycog - Game On!: All of these cars remind me of the episode of Simpsons where Homer was charging "per axle" parking, and then the foreign guy shows up in a car with a ridiculous number of wheels.

@jdpepper: The Gran Turismo series made the list.

@Uncle Bo: I had an incident like that in my 79 LTD aka the Behemoth. I was coming up on an intersection and there were two cars in the turning lane going the opposite way. The first guy blows through the intersection when he didn't have enough time to get through, I slammed on the brakes and leaned on the horn and

@Elhigh: I think someone said Chrysler's deal with Cummins was either done or near done and they were bringing it in-house, too. That said, the Cummins Rams were the best diesel heavy duty trucks of the big three's offerings and I'll be sad to see them go.

@apathyfades: Unless there are a lot of confusing roads and paths between you and the final destination, and you were able to make that delivery with a 5 mile trip and others often took 7-10 miles to make it. Yes, it's a bad retcon for a bad line, but the retcon basically said that it was because of Han Solo's skill

@GV_Goat: Would you feel more manly driving a Miata with an LS3?

@FTGDMissesTheCruise: That's actually the one thing about the pictures posted I can't stand. Though there is one company (I can't remember which) which sells rear quarter window replacements that give the car that look but still let you see out of those windows from the driver's angle, and they sit flush with the

"...makes Made In America mean something again."

@Fishflinger: There is apparently a fair-sized following for them in southern Alberta, enough for a small car club at least. I occasionally pop on the Canadian auto trader website to see if there are any for sale, and there's usually one or two in great shape for a good price, almost always in greater Calgary. It's

@B1663R: Yeah, he looks too young for that to be in New York. Though I don't think anyone in the US gave a shit about him until he played for the Rangers. Disturbing either way, not how I want to picture my all-time favourite forward. :(

@theeastbaykid: So, basically your complaint about it is that it didn't coddle you? Interesting.

@area_educator: That would be great, but the BMW V10 we're discussing does not have the American V8/10 style torque curves. As someone pointed out, the OP even screwed up the peak torque number. The BMW V10 is impressive, but it gives a different driving experience than the Viper, and some people would prefer the
