@Half Man, Half Tempo Fanatic: I made the trip from Edmonton to Calgary in a little less than 2 hours in my old Tempo, pedal to the floor and doing around 160km/h the whole way. That's around 100mph. The car shook pretty violently the whole way, I thought it was going to come apart.

@FromaBuick6: I personally don't give a shit about resale value since I'll drive it till it falls apart anyway, but I'm looking at buying a Tacoma right now because Ford doesn't sell the Ranger with 4 doors north of Mexico. Apparently they don't want my money.

@saimis: As much as I love my Mustang, it is ridiculous on winter roads and the gas mileage is terrible. Something I can drive year round without boring myself to sleep would be pretty great in addition to my Mustang, not instead of it.

@SirNotAppearing: It was blanked out like that on a lot of fastback models prior to 1969, and most people with these cars obviously try to emulate that look. I think only the 1965-66 Shelbys had actual rear quarter windows.

@tripl3fast: My time in tech support gave me thousands of stories like that. It still blows my mind that people will use something every day and not pick up even the slightest clue on how to use it.

@aSoundofSleep aka Diddles McGee: If you can kill the motor from your phone, I'd consider it incredibly useful. Doubly so if there's any kind of GPS connected to his custom computer setup that he could get to report back to his phone. I would be very interested in something like that, though I know there are some

@engineerd: That's American now. It was shitty anyway, so you can have it. I think I'll enjoy another pint of Keith's in the meantime.

@leavethegun-takethecannoli: She got that after moving there, though, proving that the U.S. is detrimental to Canadians' health.

@Chris P. Bacon: The Queen has no real power. Her job, or rather, the job of the Governor General in her place, is to sign bills making them into law. It's like the Presidency, minus the veto power, making the whole thing entirely symbolic and pointless.

@WilliamG.: If you have enough money for this, you have enough money to do the swap yourself if it doesn't.

@Deartháir exists mostly to f*ck with new commenters: As soon as they killed the Civic hatchback over here, they killed my interest in the brand. A salesman tried to get me interested in the Fit and I almost told him to fuck himself. Ugly, ugly cars. This, I would consider. But I'd rather have a Euro Focus 3-door.

@pauljones-Jo Schmo's saintly and opposite twin.: Doesn't Indy make aftermarket 401 blocks and other parts? Not exactly the cheapest way to go, but if you're trying to keep it "pure", that's one way to go. I'd also personally consider anything that went into a Jeep at any point in time to be fair game because of the

@Eli Saulibio: The Fast and the Furious movies pretty much ruined car culture, didn't they?

@FromaBuick6: You know what? I don't even need a new Ranger at this point. Just give us the diesel that gets sold overseas and I'll be happy. A no-frills, utilitarian city truck that gets decent fuel economy would suit my lifestyle perfectly.
