It's a tricky subject but this brings to mind The Matrix and how they wouldn't "wake up" or free a mind past a certain certain age because it was too traumatic. I can see why the conscious synths felt the need to free every synth mind but doing it all at once most likely wasn't practical.

As much as I like reading these reviews and comments, I'm so glad I caught onto this show late. I didn't see that twist coming at all and I think that's largely due to me missing any speculation in the comments section. I just heard about this show last week and binged it in 2 days and it was fantastic!

I kind of felt this way too but wasn't sure how to word it. But I just chalked it up to it being the pilot. Still enjoyed the episode as well.

And they literally name drop Abbott & Costello in the theme song.

Exactly what happened to me. Then I got on twitter and saw people talking about Norma being dead and I knew I had missed something.

THEY ATE THE DOG

I will always wonder how the show would have ended up if Peter had failed to stop the virus like they originally planned. Sometimes I wish I didn't know info like that. Completely agree that no other show has ever gotten me so invested only to become so completely disillusioned.

I had the same problem during the standoff scene where tommy didn't just teleport Joanne the fuck out of there. It's the main reason that scene didn't work for me.

I agree that Rashida was a better choice for the "ethnically ambiguous" casting in the commercial. Because I honestly raised an eyebrow when Dre's coworkers suggested Zoey appeared "ethnically ambiguous"…i don't find her to be so.

It may have been around for a while, but I've just recently seen a huge increase in its use. Specifically, when that cat-calling video came out.

I agree completely. I cannot stand her perpetual disdain.
