Or that “Jamaica outlasted Panama 4-2 on penalties after playing to a 2-2 draw”, etc. Saying Jamaica beat Panama 4-2 doesn’t

In this sense, I wish basketball were a bit more like soccer, in which reckless play is reckless play, no matter the skill level of the perpetrator. A cynical foul merits a yellow card. A malicious foul merits a red card. Period. (Albeit subject to the judgment of the officials and any potential flopping.)
