I’m glad too. Those years after I miscarried and we subsequently went through fertility issues were dark, painful times.  Knowing that the Obamas went through similar things and managed to come out just as classy and poised as ever is comforting to me. 

Once again, we see that the main thing almost all of these shooters have in common is violence towards women.

My favorite, too! I loved Sally so very much growing up. But I also read Are You There God countless times. SO THRILLED IT'LL BE A MOVIE! Also jealous of you that you got to meet her. 

Sally J is my absolute favorite of JB’s books! And I read them all. It helped that mom was older and I watched Esther Williams movies from a young age. I related with Sally so much  and I was a Catholic girl from the 1980s.

Me too. I loved that book. Glad to hear that she’s a sweetheart, as I still worship her to this day.
