@LVP: Oh, use cellophane!? Man, how the heck am I supposed to get this Sharpie extra permanent marker off? I'll have to get some paint thinner...

@LVP: I just took a sharpie to my screen and filled in the blank boxes...problem solved!

@demidan: Jesus Diaz? How would an editor of Gizmodo know anything about how to stop an oil spill?

@Mr. Black: It really won't matter what speed you are traveling if the brakes won't stop you, your still screwed.

@Anrkist: I'm waiting for James Dyson to come up with something.

Beep! Beep! Your are going somewhere without your pants again!

@Bertone77: Dang...embedding disabled......foiled again

Now playing

Great job Murilee, best of luck to one of the old and wise Jalop Masters! And since we are on the subject of 80's jumpsuits....

@ourtimedownhere: Funny I always thought it was the douchebags that opted for the BMW over the MINI...

@tekdemon: Hyundai isn't so much copying Toyota as learning from them; what to do, and what not to do.

If there is one thing I can tell you about Hyundai is that they hate Toyota with a passion, wait, no more like an obsession. Hyundai has bought all the "Toyota Way" books and dissected every word, bought every car and dismantled them piece by piece learning/studying as they go.

@Bertone77: FYI: That is not the exact truck, but it was very similar to that one.

When I was 2o I worked for a summer at a Rail-yard in Trona, CA. I worked as a rail repair guy for some cash for a few months and the biggest thing I had to drive was this boom truck. It was a beast to drive on the highway with a 12 speed (low-high) trasmission.

oops, double post...

Not gonna happen. Trust me.

Nice looking car, nice specs should sell well. I for one really like the newer Kia design language crisp clean lines and I didn't like it at first but that grill is growing on me.
