@skaycøg: For some reason Giugiaro put a 77 on the side vents of the Boomerang. Which also happens to be the year I was born. I always thought that Giugiaro stole the idea of wedge shape from the Lancia Strato Zero concept designed by Bertone in '70. My screen name is just a mash up of all those elements.

@skaycøg: OK I'll give you +1,000 bonus points anyway, It was at the same show as the Citroen in 72, but done by Italdesign, my screen name was a bit of a red herring.

Hey, I was there at the Fiat booth Monday at about 10am and the two girls that were there were much hotter then those two. They still looked like twins but had much more of an Italian flavor.

@solomonrex: I disagree, Look at the Mercedes line up, the look is evolutionary as the price goes up, slightly sleeker, different grills, more aggressive headlamp shapes, etc...

@plazma: Exactly what I was thinking. The Design language was fresh 4 years ago, but now it seems they just plug and play with overdone components.
