I can’t believe I missed Tunnel Log (I did drive through tunnel tree though).

For maximum discomfort, say that it was bandied about by one party, then pretend to look up details once people have reacted, and say you had been mistaken and it was the other party. Watch for those who suddenly find themselves changing positions.

And it’s not even a slideshow. Torch, you’re a rockstar.

“people are talking about that If you have a car that costs more than 40 thousand dollars, mandating a device in your car that sends the amount of miles you drive to the state. Then the government taxes you based on the miles you drive”

Weren’t you listening? Tie em to the roof.

Elantra N is genuinely much more interesting to me now than the latest Integras and Civic Type Rs.

Classic “never meet your heroes”. Happened to me with the NA2 NSX, my high school hero car. What’s next is, you hone your dreams as the more mature person that you are now. I was heartbroken after meeting my hero.. but I moved on and found lots of fulfillment elsewhere.

When I think of more ‘chill’ vehicles good for long road trips, two brands come to my mind... Buick and Lexus.

How DARE this person want some variety in their life.

I’d keep the 911, revise down the budget and buy the newest/nicest E550 Coupe you decide to set your budget at. You’ve got a great sports car for the weekends, a daily driver bike and a big comfy grant tourer that eats up miles in a Merc.

Better is usually subjective when talking about cars. When I say 80's and 90's cars were better, I’m not talking about safety features. I just enjoy driving them more. I’m all for better safety features.

How does it compare with the Hyundai Elantra N?

Do you really think everyone (anyone?) is pining after the base Integra sedan of old?

Boom, you got it.

Acura failed at managing expectations. If they’d said a new four door hatch was coming out, given it a new name, and avoided invoking the Integra, people would have probably liked this.

Keep showing close ups of the taillights, headlights, etc. (Just as Acura has been doing) because when you see the thing in its entirety it’s a mess. WTF is going on with the lower front bumper? The straight, diagonal bone line down the side is amateurish at best. They painted it bright yellow to distract from the

I think enthusiasts are upset because when we hear “Integra” we think of one thing and one thing only, a luxury sports coupe in GSR or Type-R trim and four round headlights. Completely brushing aside that there was always base model and four door versions all along, essentially just nicer Civics. Sort of like when some

If Acura had said they were introducing a new small, sporty sedan I don’t think you would be reading most of the blowback that’s erupted around this car. But they are calling it an Integra which has a lot of emotional history to it. It’s not an Integra. An Integra/RSX was a two-door/coupe (mostly).  There was a

The real problem with it, and this applies to a lot of these name-plate rehash things these days, is that the original meant something for performance enthusiasts. It was light, it handled great, it was fast for the time. This is none of those things.
