I suppose the exact same reason 90% of AE86's are painted white and black two-tone at this point. It’s the color scheme everyone equates with the car, kind of like black with gold graphics ‘77 Trans Ams.

I really lucked out and got to see it when they were exercising it around the Venus fort driving route. I was walking on the walkway between Odaiba Megaweb and the Yurikamome line station, and heard something raspy so I looked down to see it being guided around. So I had to take a several minute long video of course.

I’m not a fan of some of the cars only being winnable through online events, but I’m saying that as someone who owns two cars in real life that fell under this category. I just wanted to be able to cruise my AE86 and A70 Supra in peace, rather than devote my half hour of free time every day before work for two weeks

It can be made California legal, but it will cost $6-12k, and take 6 months to a year. Most people who find it worth the time and money do it to things like $50-70k GTRs however.

Macquarie Pass in NSW.

I’ve had so many fantastic rental cars, it’s hard to know where to begin.

You guys are the reason I have to keep buying manual transmission cars new, despite the fact I have a 1.5 hour commute in LA stop and go traffic. Someone has to keep fun cars alive.

I often say that an 86 twin is a close to reliving the Japanese bubble era as you can get today. Lightweight, RWD, around 200hp, easy to upgrade, easy to work on, huge aftermarket, offered in a wide variety of colors and special editions, late-90's-style wheel and tire sizes, and even had weird JDM models like the RC.

Sport mode would just give up completely and lock out any color that wasn’t red. I didn’t even know about green or blue until I had my CRZ for a year.

I accidentally washed 37 cents worth of pocket change that I left in my jeans, so I have that going for me, I guess.

I’m super excited about buying GT7, except for one thing. I can’t get a new playstation no matter how many times I check different online retailers (since its release!). I do however, have a decent gaming PC with better specs that I’d gladly buy GT7 for. If Sony is selling their consoles at loss and hoping to make up

I’m not too worried.

I agree with this general time period. I just finished building a ‘91 Supra as a daily driver, and with everything working and refreshed, and a modern touchscreen head unit with CarPlay, it’s everything I want out of a daily. It drives amazing, has ABS, airbag, decent crash protection, a very comfortable ride and

I’m also an old millennial. I grew up in West Germany back when there were two Germanys. Even as kindergartners we were very thankful for which Germany we were in at the time.

Don’t forget the real-time G-meter is disabled in the US market version. That annoys me to no end, especially after getting to experience a functional one in Japan.

Same cars, just add Blizzaks.

My dad is 72 and has no issues daily driving his 2017 BRZ performance package. He’s an elected official, so he still needs to drive a lot. It really depends on what sort of shape you’re in at that age, but if you’re pretty healthy and an optimum weight, a BRZ shouldn’t present any issues.

I know I’ve spammed these pics to death on here, but any one of the cars my 72-year old parents have would work well for your case. My dad has a BRZ, and my mom has a Civic Type-R and a Mazdaspeed3. The hatchbacks especially are comfortable to get in and out of, and will scratch the “I need to get out there and drive”

I’m personally excited because it means you can buy an updated version of what is practically a JDM late-bubble/golden era car with up to date tech. The best of both worlds.
