Not this friendly guy I met in Busan, Korea.

So you’re saying I could buy a 2017 86 twin AND have a place to provide housing for our local feral raccoon population? COUNT ME IN!

You’ll be happy to know that a lot of people in Japan both love Han’s FD, and think that “Wild Speed: Tokyo Drift” is the best in the series.

Now playing

For those of you interested, as the gif cycles through Mazdas, it matches perfectly with the tempo of Space Boy after the 20 second mark.

They’re screwed if they get a flat though.

It looks like the early order Performance Y’s had the larger wheels, higher top speed, and lowered suspension as standard, and it’s now an extra cost option on the Performance. It appears the Model 3 has followed suit now too.

Wow, they changed that. When we ordered our Y performance two weeks ago, it was a refundable $2500 deposit. It also had different wheels.

WILD SPEED: TRACTOR MISSION *the Japanese title for Furious 15

There are license plates on the rear too, Wisconsin requires both.

It’s not odd when it’s a Japanese car, and you’re using an already well- established name (AE86 and Hachiroku have been used interchangeably in the US amongst enthusiasts for a long time.)

Just wait until the BRZ RS replaces the tS.

Seriously. I don’t get why everyone calls it by its Euro-market name of all things. It’s an 86, pronounced Eight-six, Eighty-six (cringe), or most correctly; Hachi-Roku.

Sorry, I meant G90.

If the fender vents are anything like how the G80 is designed, those strakes will turn into turn signals that continue back from the elements in the headlights.

About half of 86 twin sales are in Japan, an environment the car is perfectly suited for. As time goes on, I get the impression it’s really a car meant for the mountain passes of Gunma, and the focus will always be there, rather than trying to change it up for the US market.

I had a 2015 Honda CRZ with the 6-speed manual. With upgraded Project Mu brake pads and Bridgestone RE71R’s it was unbeatable on the downhill. However, I upgraded to a BRZ tS, and it is a much better and faster car in every way except fuel economy.

I feel you, because for me it would be (my shitty, slow, underpowered, overpriced, worthless, stupidest-car-ever-made, only-idiots-would-buy-that, there-are-so-many-better-options-for-the-price BRZ.) x BRZ tS “not a real STI model” multiplier.

Two things my parents taught me about buying cars is 1.) Never get an automatic when a manual is available, and 2.) Greyscale tones don’t count as a legitimate car color, only hues count.

My parents hold it down.. They have an E-type, have had some Corvairs and 442's and an MGBGT, and a bunch of other fun stuff.

In my case, the sky literally started falling (or maybe my garage roof started leaking.) Truly an omen.
