So, we can’t get the diesel, but are there any updates on getting the petrol version in the US? I really want an Avant, and am in the position to put my money where my mouth is, (and would really prefer not having to lower an A4 Allroad.) Otherwise I’ll just continue to drive the wheels off my BRZ tS.

Because apparently the end consumer always knows more about what makes a *insert iconic brand/vehicle* a *same brand/vehicle* than the hardcore enthusiasts who became designers and were chosen to head up a special project like this.

And some seats just use a “canopy cutter” on the top of the seat.

A 2JZ Supra gets killed with fire, but hundreds of LS-powered S-chassis are allowed to live. The world can be a cruel place.

Back in 2006, I took my built S13 drift car autocrossing, and it absolutely slayed at it, running way quicker times than every BMW M-car and Porsche I ran against. However, that was back when drift cars were more well-rounded rather than the wisefab-ed LS-powered monstrosities most modern ones are.

It becomes deeper when you realize it was the seventh Boxster he looked at because the first six weren’t worth buying.

My brother bought the best sub $10k Boxster he could, religiously maintained it, then traded it after everything broke a year later for my dad’s Crossfire 6-speed. You really don’t want a sub $10k Boxster.

Are you considering breeding more litters of those monster Kei trucks?

“I do look forward to the increasingly ominous naming possibilities on the future cars in this line though.”

As any college student can tell you, warmth and freshness have no effect on a pizza being delicious.

If it works, let me know, because I’m all-in on the street breakfast sandwiches made in the back of a Bongo kei-truck by a nice Ajumma.

Everyone knows if you order food long distance from LA, it’s probably In-N-Out. (My brother-in-law has done this a couple times to get double doubles in Seoul, Korea.)

Based on how every one of them has had damage that was repaired on the same fender, I’d find a new place to park.

I can only think of a few cars that require finishing at the dealer (not including normal prep.) My Subaru BRZ tS was one of them. I bought mine directly off the truck, and didn’t want to wait around for the aero kit to be installed (I didn’t expect to buy it that day, but one came in, and I had plans that night.) So

Vapid’s the manufacturer, and there’s plenty of cars they “make” that are like what you described. Although I haven’t played GTA in several years.

I have numerous co-workers who overland. However, despite that, I don’t really know what it entails. As far as I can tell ( and this isn’t meant to be a dig at Overlanding, I’m genuinely curious), it means spending a bunch of money on off-road and camping modifications, taking your rig down easy firetrails, then

I’m coming to realize that I have a wildly different definition of wagons than Jalopnik writers do.

Why not the SR though?

I’ve found that in Japan, if you share an interest with a stranger, you can become instant friends. Armed with a picture of my AE86 Corolla and the phrase “Watashi no hachiroku desu” I talked to anyone who appeared to be into cars and made about ten friends on three different visits who were awesome and showed me

Neither is a Shelby Mustang and a Ferrari Daytona, but everyone has their own taste in classic cars.
