Please make this a series. There’s so much potential, like how the AE86 was based off the TE70 for its rear drive platform, but the TE70 also offered a sedan and wagon version, or GM had continued experimenting with rotary engines, and hadn’t killed off the Corvair, and had managed to put the two together.... I am so

What it adds is additional chassis bracing, tuned versions of the Subaru performance package Sachs dampers, larger wheels with stickier rubber, Recaro Sportster reclinable seats, additional aero, and large 6-piston front and 4-piston rear brembos. It’s not adding an LSD, because every 86 twin except the Japanese

Unfortunately, Jalopnik didn’t report in its Gazoo Racing coverage that the Toyota 86 GR is a Subaru BRZ Type ts with a ducktail spoiler instead of the big wing. That’s pretty cool, and I would take that over the Subaru

I feel like the first part of the doughnut, where he was dialing in opposite lock would have made a much more impressive gif.

I’ve already had three.... but I’ve never owned an MR layout...

All you have to do is remove the rear wing, and leave the shipping plastic on.

It just so happens I have a niche that needs scratching.

It’s like he knows enthusiasts know that the performance hard parts are usually better from dedicated aftermarket brands, but that it’s cool to have bespoke body and appearance parts from the manufacturer. If I had an 86, I wouldn’t think about getting the TRD shock/spring set, but would gladly get some Gazoo racing

Can confirm, saw more modded Prii in Japan than anything else.

Everybody has different tastes in what they want from a car. A Toyota enthusiast will love their Supras, AE86's, Celica GT-fours, Hi-Luxes, 86's, etc, with their history of being fantastic drift, rally, offroad, JGTC race cars, etc, and will see an exotic like a McLaren and go, “Well, that’s cool and all, but

I had an Asahi Super Dry Hyper-Cold (that’s what the bar called it, chilled to 0 degrees celsius) at the Narita airport right before departing my first trip from Japan. 10/10 would take the automotive equivalent of that.

It’s a zenki (i.e. pre-facelift, and most common appearance) ‘87 (most common year) and dark red metallic (most common color), with grey interior (most common color again.) IMO to pay that price, it would be better to go after something a bit more rare, such as a kouki in blue on blue or teal on black. Or another

Ooh, I think we all had a friend like this, only the one I had, his dad insisted on buying him classic musclecars. He wrecked an early 70's Chevelle the day he got his license, and an early 70's Charger the next month.

Every one of my friends have kids, and I’d rather have a Recaro car seat to use when I baby sit them, then to use their bodily fluid encrusted ones. Plus Recaro car seats are cool AF. I’d put my cat in one.

“Have the US and Chinese swap gear, my money’s on the US.”

Stop showing me things like this! My fianceé and I have no intention of having kids, but stuff like this is so cool (if pricey.)

CR-Z’s handle fantastically though.

I read the “delivered by Tim Cook to curry her favor” as “delivered by Tim Curry” which I could also see Fancy Kristen doing.

Is it working yet? There were a bunch of people who downloaded it last night, and it wouldn’t boot up on xbox1.
