I still blast eurobeat in my AE86 all the time. Mostly because the head unit is a flip face setup from the early 2000's and refuses to give up the “Eurobeat presents:” CD that is permanently lodged in the still functioning CD player behind the non-functioning controls. It’s fitting though, that eurobeat starts

I’m cross shopping this with a BRZ type Ts, a Cayman, and an M4.

If this doesn’t offer a manual, I’m buying an 86 twin instead.

^Helldestroyer confirmed.

Thank you Vadim. The JDM seatbelt solution is much more elegant too.

I’ll take those over the ones I had in my XK8 coupe. They were hinged at the front in multiple places, and if you had to hit the brakes, they’d catapult your coffee into the center stack of the instrument panel.

Ken, that 240SX convertible is how they came, not a Silvia rear-end conversion. The S13 240SX coupe is basically an S13 Silvia coupe with a 180SX front clip, and the convertible is just the coupe with the roof removed.

House of Drift, you will be missed.

Oooh, I remember this scene in “Deathproof.”

It works in Detroit too.

Meanwhile Jalops are all checking out the E46 vert and 86-twin stuck in traffic in the lead image.

It’s easy to collide with other objects when your vehicle is already on fire.

*Caught fire after one hour.

This is how I imagine the average David Tracy garage drink to be. Only with Faygo and unwashed Jeep engine parts. And unintentional.

Impreza with a wagon body (not just the hatchback), but most importantly, the STi drivetrain.

I’m really feeling both the checkerboard seats and vintage Toyota inspired grille.

Meanwhile, nothing in the US will satisfy me as long as this is available in Japan....

I used to own an Evo VIII with a rear wiper, and thought it was the coolest thing ever. I really want one for my next car, but it’s looking like I’ll have to straight up import something 25-years old from Japan for that. But it’ll most likely be straight-6 turbo manual too, so win-win?

I’m stoked to see that pic of Air Wing 8 onboard Nimitz during ‘81. My dad was the Air Wing Intelligence Officer on that cruise.
