I have worked for a autonomous start up in the UK on their autonomous testing fleet. Now there are some challenging weather and roads layout. Can’t reveal how they deal with rain and other weather but it it a real challenge. So is snow that obscures road markings.

Have insurance companies black listed you yet?

What ever it is, the woman in front has enough of her bullsh*t and is looking for the gun in glove compartment.

Yes, this one came straight to mind. there wasn’t an excuse for this then and there isn’t one now but the same went for the car so....perfection.

David Tracy’s plan A is no doubt letting the thing rust away then weld it back together later in 2 weeks before sailing it to some event.

Yeah I agree, Antonio Giovinazzi’s hemet is pretty nice, a but too much happening on top view but probably my 2nd favorite after Seb’s helmet.

I’m a designer and occasionally do some race and non race liveries so its fair to say I always look out for these with great interest. What was most noticeable is that after a period where we have seen a lot of details, patterns, gradients etc we are going back to simple and clear liveries and I like it. The 2021 grid

fantastic article,

As a car and commercial vehicle designer it always baffles me why US postal services always insist on their vehicles looking like it stepped right out of a pixar movie.

I love cutaway’s, I have a few as posters in my office. I’m a industrial/automotive designer and always play with the CAD features that let you do that but sadly cars and other products have become so complicated a cutaway isn’t going to look pretty.

I like how it is nearly impossible to look over the bonnet. I don’t hate it, I just like a original Land Cruiser much better.

China, not because of the crazy drivers or lack of traffic rules (I’ve driven in Russia and it was fine, you learn to go with the flow) but because of the crazy laws. If you get into a accident you are in big trouble as a foreigner. Guilty or not.

Car designer here: If your design can be copied in 5 days your design sucks but I get the sentiment. I had some of my designs copied and stopped many Chinese clients getting a bit over inspired too, luckily that kind of copying is now being frowned upon in China too as they are becoming more design literate.

I really like the Daihatsu with that glass roof and that odd rear quarter window.

I bet it’s a great job, I’ve been a garbage collector just after collage while I was setting up my own business and had great fun. Loved the outdoors and the colleagues.

Now this is cool! Really like it is two tone too! But that interior! I understand getting it all to work is tricky and some comfort is nice but the first thing I would do is swap that dashboard out.

Firstly, Tracing point, I mean Racing Point, I mean Aston Martin will regret getting Vettel. He will no doubt do better than at Ferrari but will only serve to make lance look good (and maybe that’s the point)

Car designer here, I enjoy this series so much! Although most of the car designing I do is with prestigious British brands I also work for Chinese commercial vehicles and am always impressed with what they can get away with and how innovating they really are.

It’s cool, I agree but the suspension travel is less than impressive.
