I was thinking about this today when I was at Kid’s school & all the classes were making mother’s day crafts and having mothers day teas. I kept thinking, “Surely some of these kids don’t have mothers in their lives - this must feel so awful for them!”

The issue is that people like your mother are very good at manipulating the situation. Know that what you experienced is real and your mother is responsible for her behavior. Good luck.
