you hit that nail right on the head. richer countries are willing to pay more. a lot of the “poorer” countries have lower prices literally to effectively prevent piracy. offer the game at a price the majority of people are comfortable paying. 

you are forgetting a key detail. kotaku hasnt had competent journalists in years, falling off over the past decade or so. you expect them to actually research a game before its launch? thats something a proper journalist would do.

play shit games, win shit prizes. Im all for criticizing TPC when they do something shitty, but if you willingly commit a crime, they are absolutely in their rights to do what they did. 

they opted for a bunch of small updates rather than big ones for the most part. I believe they also announced they would be spreading out the updates and making them bigger to make them more impactful and probably more noticeable.

Cant wait to play the game and compare it to the fan translation, should be easy enough to play side by side. though its already not fairing well with the whole Herlock Sholmes thing. I get the liscencing issues but man I might need a fan patch for the new version to fix that on its own.
