FWIW, those lighted stars were available when I worked at a Mercedes Dealership back in the early 00’s and we mostly laughed at the thought of ordering cars with it but we DID see them on CL & S-Classes occasionally.

Yeah, when this actually happens is with sled lots not legit dealer franchises. Most franchise dealers aren’t trying to get paper bout THAT deep...
The real issue across the board is that law enforcement agencies can, do and will serve warrants for the data to track vehicles, ostensibly for suspicion of the commission of crimes because we know that authorities would NEVER abuse the process in place to protect individual privacy or civil liberty.....🤔
I do.... trying to decide on a frozen blue for 2020.... (though Frozen Bronze Metallic is also in the running...)
**current...**
I haven’t taken a key out of my pocket to get into or start my car for YEARS. The only time I touch it is to put it into or take it out of my pocket at the beginning/end of the day. My phone however, it almost always in my hand and if using an app is too difficult, you probably shouldn’t be operating something as…
No argument from me, Kristen is the one lamenting change🤷🏽♂️
Yup, AND a different key for the trunk...
No argument from me, my last 3 daily’s have been BMW Individual Blues, Enzian Blue, San Torino Blue II & Pure Blue BUT, people buy Black, Silver, White And occasionally, reds..
Still listening to AM/FM radio and using a floppy disk drive eh?
I’m confused, do you think I’m against manually actuated locks inside of cars? I’m not. I was being sarcastic about Kristen lamenting about “the good old days” when you used physical keys (which the overwhelming majority of drivers do) to open car doors...
I mean, I don’t personally but I’m aware of such a time and in fact, understand that how we rate the relative power output of our current modes of motorized transportation, has.... **something** to do with the old grass powered versions.....
Sure seems like it🤷🏽♂️
Black, white, silver & some shade of red. That’s what people want. The better companies offer a smattering of cool colors as well but what people overwhelmingly want and more importantly, BUY, are the above.
Better fuel economy translates to lower cost to operate, rural Americans wanna pay slightly less for cars but significantly more to operate it over its lifetime? That makes sense. Also, since the overwhelming majority of cars are bought and sold on the coasts, mostly not to “elites,” it follows that those people and…
“That all sounds fancy and high-tech, but what was so wrong with a plain, old car key that Lincoln felt the need to develop this feature?”
Seems like you’re less interested in what’s better for literally EVERYONE than “Obama bad, Trump good.” But REDUCING fuel efficiency makes sense, you can spend your tax refund on gas instead of something more useful
And that’s exactly what’s gonna happen, they’re gonna puke up on those smallish lots and they’ll start giving them away.....
And that’s why they can do that. Until supply catches up with demand, dealers are gonna do what dealers do. If you really want a good chuckle, go try to buy a ‘20 Corvette for $59,999 (+ destination and delivery 🤣🤣) in the first model year or two. Unless you’ve bought a bunch of cars from the dealer, you won’t…
The “anonymous” automaker’s gotta be GM. They agree but don’t want trump to piss in their cornflakes, especially when his trade war may effect their competition
