Simple answer, it doesn’t depict anything illegal, and much like any of the other similarly styled, dumb assed shows on the air, people watch them (ever watched “Moonshiners?)

Someone’s gettin a pink slip
At what point will the franchise be renamed “geriatric & grumpy?”
I have nothing negative to say about Musk opening his checkbook for a cause we should ALL be able to agree, is worthy but the fact that an individual/company is doing something the government should be doing, for something that we can all agree, is a basic necessity, is abhorrent.
In other words, Porsche NA told them that if they didn’t take care of the effected customers, they would at best, tKe a MAJOR hit to their future allocation Or at worst, lost their franchise.
Actually it does, “in service”’date and miles are noted at purchase and warranty begins there. If the car is sold as new and has 100 miles in it, your warranty would be 36100 miles....
The simplest answer is, a car is “New” until it’s titled. Period. Back in the late 90’s (97ish) I worked at a Mitsubishi dealer in San Diego. We bought an 88 Galant VR4 from the factory that had >1k miles on it that had been used to troubleshoot issues. They literally took this car a part and reassembled it hundreds…
Surely I can’t be the only one who’s first thought was “hitting a parked vehicle means that you were not in a travel lane in the first place,” right??
You’re an exception to the “enthusiast” rule...
But, would you actually BUY one?
THIS... 1000% THIS! (Except they buy that Soul as 3rd owners because you know, they REFUSE to buy new cars cuz depreciation is for losers!!)
I read something a while ago that posited Tesla making a modular chassis to underpin nearly ever electrified vehicle as OEM.... makes sense, lower cost of entry for any number of configurations and Musk could be the true 800lb gorilla of a new car age...
That’s just rubbing and rubbing is racing......
New autos inc may be in the right but ford has deeper pockets and likely could have sued them out of business......
If Musk wasn’t so ADD and unable to resist wagging his Connexting Rod at every “sexy” sounding project known to man, Tesla could be the OEM supplier of modular, electrified chassis to the entire industry but... SQUIRREL!!!
Cuz no one who’s actually going to pony up for one, wants a manual OR wagon....
“Better?” Nah, “likely to be more accurate?” Prolly....
“Also, why doesn’t it come with a manual transmission and zero additional options so that I can buy it at a substantial discount on the secondary market cuz buying new cars is dumb...”
“But I think this is a mistake. You could argue that the Veloster, which starts at $18,500, fits under the lower end of the electric seat spectrum, where manual seats are fitted to keep it affordable. That’s fine for the base model, but if I’m cashing out closer to $25-grand on a car that otherwise features advanced…
I’m curious, does Fords contract for GT buyers stipulate how they should be attired when driving the cars that they’ve purchased in full, at a premium? What they should have done, is arranged for very visible personalities to drive the GT on a regular basis, documenting it on social media along the way. That way,…
