What do you mean? This update is entirely free. Sims 4 has added quite a bit of free content and updates to the game actually - much more than previous generations of the Sims games did. There are still for-purchase expansion packs and stuff packs, like there always have been, but updates like this are completely free

It's news because it's an update to the game. Next week the game is adding restaurants to the game, so that'll probably be news as well. It's a popular game so people want to know about it.

Of course. :)

No. They number them in order. Each generation remakes the game from the ground up. They're currently on the 4th generation of game - with each generation having it's own base game and multiple expansion packs.

Well the Sims has only been out since 2000 and each generation of it has about a dozen expansion packs - with that generation lasting about 4-5 years. So for being 16 years old, and have 4 generations of games out, with each being about 4 years long… yes that's about right.

That's actually a good thing. Supply and demand. If people didn't like it so much, the price would go down. The fact that it's retained it's value should tell you something about it's worth.

The only loading screens are when the Sims go to a commercial lot or to someone else's house. There are community areas in their home neighborhood though that don't require a loading screen to get to - including fish spots and jogging paths that neighboring Sims can be found on.

You should try playing it actually; TS4 is quite an update to gameplay, not a regression, IMO, mainly because the Sims react and do things more realistically. They can finally multi-task, for example, and time functions much more normally (it doesn't take 3 hours to walk to the kitchen and get a bowl of cereal

Yeah the Wren theory never really made sense to me either. Although that does beg the question about whether or not he was working with A. He did seem to be in a lot of convenient places. Ezra made more sense as A to me, actually, until that theory was disproven. 😜

Dunno. Good question. My guess is that she pushed each of them where they'd crack the most easily. Aria is the least crack-able since she is generally less emotional than the other girls, so was probably less of A target for that reason. She tortured both Spencer and Hanna as much as Emily, just in different ways.

Most are excellent questions. One thing I think you might have wrong though was the timing of Toby's mom's death. I'm pretty sure he's always said it was when he was a kid. That's how he got his stepfamily and grew up with Jenna.

To be fair, we were hearing this all from A's perspective. She could definitely be an unreliable narrator. Of course she would see herself as the justified victim of the situation, so that's how she told the story. It'll be interesting to see if we learn anything in future seasons from anyone else that contradicts A's

Yes, Shailene was actually very good in The Descendants. I was surprised, since I had only before ever seen her in Secret Life.
