Yeah, I don't think they had any idea how important mp3 downloads would be to certain listeners. The whole thing is very user-unfriendly and really leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Louis CK has built enough good faith with his audience and vice-versa for him to offer DRM-free videos and albums on his website, but I

Scott said in the same thread that the archives for Analyze Phish and UTU2TM are staying free. But yeah, I'm doing the same thing.

I just realized it's going to be a lot more complicated to do a second season of ADPPP with all his characters' original CBB appearances behind the paywall.

The tweet just meant for the time being.

Unless they're backtracking on the announcement they made today, I think that just means for the time being.

I sometimes find good "serious" episodes through this feature, so I guess it's a good service, but it comes off as so dour some weeks. Especially in contrast to what most readers seem to want to talk about in the comments.

I think blindly modeling their strategy on what WTF is doing is a huge mistake. First off, WTF puts out episodes twice a week, meaning you're going to have 50 episodes to choose from, as opposed to a much tinier ~25 episode sample for a once-a-week Earwolf show.

Listen to the two improv4humans episodes with them and Jason Mantzoukas too if you have time. "Quadruple Mix-In" for great improv and "Ute of the Butte" for a lot of hilarious out-of-character conversation between them (as well as great improv).

Which one of Erik's superiors is forcing him to pretend he actually gives a shit about commenters?

The fact that Tig was their common and strongest link gave them a great faux-adversarial relationship as the podcast went on. Not sure how sustainable that would have been though.

So glad the crew put this out so I could hear it.

I can't argue with David's shortcomings, but I've really grown to like him a lot. He really loosened up in the final year or so of the show and allowed himself to get a lot more comfortable with the silliness around him (while still filling the vital role of moderator). He seemed to work the hardest on the show, and

I was surprised when Tig revealed she had put in her notice 3 months ago. There had been hints the podcast might be winding down, and Tig even foreshadowed this a few episodes ago, but I still had no idea they had known for so long.

If you're looking for a good 3DS procrastination game, I highly recommend Box Boy!. It's a puzzle/platformer game from Nintendo/HAL Laboratory where your character spawns boxes out of his body that are used in various creative ways to collect crowns and get to the end of stages. For a $5 e-shop game, there's a lot of

I think you're both right. Pete is WAY more quiet than usual for the majority of it, and you can sense him catching himself biting his tongue several times, which allows for a lot of fascinating stuff to come out. That said, he also asks hardly any follow-up questions and makes very little attempt to dig deeper on

He made the rounds a lot those couple weeks, but a lot of this is completely outside of that window.

Yeah, I thought that review was weird too. He's been on CBB a couple times, Nerdist multiple times, Professor Blastoff, YMIW, DLM a bunch, the list goes on. He's also been on a bunch of smaller shows like Weird Adults, This Feels Terrible, and a lot of even more obscure things that I'm either forgetting or never knew

I know Player's Club episodes are generally more geared towards friends of the show, but I think this is the first podcast where Greg's talked about his cancer, and I'm a little bummed I can't hear it.

Tom's been in LA a lot lately. I wonder what he's up to.

What does Jonathan have to say?
