She did! It was awesome!
She did! It was awesome!
This…. looks terrible. Ah well. I haven't seen one of the TOS movies and two of the TNG movies. So, I figure I can still be a Trekkie and not see this one.
WSJ reports one of them actually had a ticket to the soccer game, but was stopped from entering when security guards frisked him as he tried to enter.
I remember seeing that. It was fascinating to hear how he and his musicians had to grapple over whether to even perform that night, and what songs to perform.
Meanwhile, around 5 years ago the other (better) dance show allowed this to air: https://www.youtube.com/wat… Apparently FOX didn't have a problem with it.
Hey, at least her show lets male dancers dance emotional pieces together.
War in the stars? Nah. This film is obviously going to be planet based, from what the trailers and tv spots have shown.
Picturing this just made me burst out laughing at my desk. My co-workers gave me a strange look.
Yeah, I heard someone on ESPN radio going on about this. Hey, ESPN, you employ a LOT of people who do statistics for a living. Surely, one of them could have told you that this is wrong?
I don't really understand why Americans would call them anything but Muggles. How old is the term "Muggle"? Why wasn't that exported to America?
That's understandable; it is ridiculous. I'm kind of hoping that a character comments on how silly it is. Or, the design flaw ends up causing him damage.
Yes, I realize this. What I am saying is that it is nuts that CBS thinks its okay to do a press release with zero information and no one in the media will do anything but regurgitate it. A new Trek series is huge news. Trek fans are obsessive geeks. I am annoyed that CBS thinks "Hey, we have a guy and we're talking…
Don't tempt me! My co-worker requested that Thursday and Friday off so she could see it. Three times. Which means I can't leave early or arrive late.
I would definitely go for the fake plot.
By announcing that they have nothing prepared for the actual 50th Anniversary!
I really hope you are right. I want to be that optimistic. But, the films were also bereft of developed characters or interesting plot.
Obviously. It just seemed crazy to me that CBS could issue a press release with zero information in it about a Star Trek series.
Awesome! Coincidentally, I'd be willing to buy some drinks for someone at CBS if they will give me some details about this show!
I haven't seen anything saying they will stream all the episodes at once. If so, I would consider that. (Although, I kind of hate that method of distribution as it kills any sustained interest in a show.) But, I'd need to read reviews and know the premise and hear interviews from the writers before I'd commit to even…
The point is they don't even have a show. They have a guy and are saying, "hey, let's make something Star Trek-related and charge people extra for it." And, somehow, this is enough for a press release. Which is simply regurgitated by every entertainment website on the internet with no extra questions being asked.
