That's true. So, it's just GoT with this aversion?

Yes, we can! HBO has officially submitted Pedro Pascal for Emmy consideration. So, campaign away!
Well, but it makes less sense in terms of the plot. The Bank decided to help Stannis there *because* of what happened in that battle at The Wall. Stannis was at The Wall because he didn't have enough men or resources to try to sack King's Landing.
If you want a Game of Thrones discussion which has no mention of the show being misogynistic…. Actually, I have no idea where you could go for that.
I thought he was joking in the review for at least several sentences. And then I realized he wasn't.
I find it amusing that people are confused about where Stannis & co are going. They made a huge scene out of it in the S3 finale. And here we learn why having Stannis go to petition the Iron Bank for money, while a cool scene, actually makes no logical plot sense. Because now the non-reader audience assumes that…
"She fell. Officer, I swear!"
I may have actually rolled my eyes over that second costume. It was so over the top ridiculous. It might as well have been on Original Star Trek.
I guess it's okay if they're showing it in order to mock people? If the male audience can laugh about it, then it isn't threatening?
Why are they taking Shireen? No, Melisandre! No, you can't take her!! NOOOOOOO!!!!
The whole thing was quite disorienting. I haven't been able to figure out why Arya and The Hound have spent the whole season wandering through the Riverlands. Part of me was hoping that The Hound would eventually just wander off on his own, as Arya headed towards Braavos. I hadn't much thought through how that would…
Had to cut away once Daario was naked. HBO can't show a frontal shot of a naked man. Clearly they were worried that their audience would run screaming, since they immediately followed with a shot of a naked Melisandre.
It has to be the real reason.
The first board was tough for me, but not as tough as some of last week's. The DJ board kicked my butt. I considered it a near total loss. Except that I thought that FJ question was ridiculously easy, and could name both films instantly. So, I probably would have ended up no better than Roger.
When I saw "The Academy Awards" come up for FJ I thought immediately of how we had been talking here about how many contestants don't know this stuff.
Aw! That's great. And good for Chuck, proving he can still hang.
Thanks! Finally home. Going to watch it now.
Argh. I got called away to deal with a friend's kid emergency and forgot to DVR this episode. Ugh, now I really want to see it. How awesome that Chuck Forrest almost won!
I really hope that happens. I think Ken would make an awesome Jeopardy host
Ooh! Good luck! Hope you make it.
