Weird. But, it's still the same trailer?

I'm very interested to know who all of these new characters are in "Gracepoint" since the summary there lists all the same characters from "Broadchurch".

Damn Disqus. I so wanted to post that, but there was no reply function when I tried.

I just saw it on YouTube 5 minutes ago.

It was weird how much it looked like Broadchurch. Like everything is the same…but different. With David Tennant. Same shots, same dialogue…. It kind of creeped me out. So did David Tennant's higher voice.

I'd love to see Montreal win. I've officially grown tired of Boston sports.

I kind of wish they'd cast the actor playing Robb in Jon's role.

I guess that could be true. Here in the show he screams about how he is leaving it up to the Gods. So, if the Gods are just and merciful then maybe someone would do it?

I just feel that we understand him better psychologically in the book. I feel his portrayal on screen has been much more surface. But, it is still very good. He is still a great character on screen.

It was such a great touch when he remained seated when Tywin walked in. I can't get enough of his utter contempt for the Lannisters and most of what happens in King's Landing.

I'm not too concerned with what Tywin thought about the pros and cons. He was clearly wrong. Giving Dorne more access to power was a terrible decision.

Yeah. Theon's story had been advanced so far. It really feels like they are dragging their feet on that plot. But, as far as I know, they haven't even cast Euron or Victarion. So, I guess that is all next season.

Makes perfect sense. Pretty much no actor gets more than 10 minutes of screen time in any episode. The show feels like an ensemble show to me.

This makes the scene in show where he offers Oberyn the seat on the Small Council so wonderful to me. It is so rare to see Tywin make that big of an error.

When I saw it in the previews for this season I was so excited! I really thought it meant we'd see Arya arriving in Braavos. Alas, no. Still, it was kind of cool. And I liked actually seeing the bank.

Yes, exactly. I mean, it isn't like Varys needed to have some grand ethical motivation to help Tyrion.

Undoubtedly not. Oberyn hasn't been as big a presence on the show as he was in the book.

Which will hopefully include *leaving* Meereen.

Well, that was awesome. Thanks!

It is kind of too bad the show is following the book structure so closely. This was a fun scene, and all. But, it would have been fun to hear those characters actually talk about the real things those characters would talk about, if the tv audience actually understood those characters better.
