Ah yes, should have read down.

I absolutely loved Oscar Wao. It may be one of my favorite novels ever. I thought "This is How You Lose Her" was really good. Actually, it will probably read better if you read "Oscar Wao" because the narrator of both is the same character.

Oh, me too. I don't remember who it was who first recommended him to me, but bless that person.

I read "The Way We Live Now" last year. Wow, that is a fairly brutal take down of greed and materialism in society. It was uncomfortable how relevant it still felt.

I have never been able to get it to work.

Yes! I can finally watch "The Returned"!

I kinda now think of him as "shirtless guy on a horse", too. I mean, I can't unsee those photos.

Dule Hill is fantastic on Psych. I cannot believe how great he is. He should have been in comedy all along.

Woody was one of the greatest hostages of all time.

Finally! That is what killed me about the 2012 Games. If they would have just streamed the big events I wouldn't have bitched about it. But they wouldn't stream swimming or diving or track or gymnastics. They would withhold them for prime time. Then chop them into bits. Show only 10% of the competition, and only

Yes! All the photos of hot athletes helped bring me down from the rage I felt at NBC's prime time disaster of Olympics coverage

Oh my goodness, it was so good it probably got within shouting distance of "The Ski Lodge".

I simply had to upvote that.

Well that just made me quite sad. Damn it.

This is the same advice my college voice teacher gave me. He told me to go out to every audition. Grab every opportunity. Even if I was sure I wasn't cut out for it. Even if it was something I wasn't sure I liked. And always make sure I did the best I could.

I felt the same way. In the end, it felt like an excuse to watch some great actors do some great acting. Which they did. I loved PSH, Phoenix and Adams in it. But, I didn't really like the film.

Ugh, I felt a little nauseated reading that comment. That is truly awful.

And now I want to cry again. Thanks, AV Club.

PSH had incredible 1-2 punch that year with "Before the Devil Knows You're Dead" and "The Savages". Two terrific lead performances.

Seriously, I am still feeling sad about him dying. I saw something last night that reminded me of it, and I almost cried. It is a tad crazy that I'm having this kind of reaction to an actor's death.
